Growing up in a confusing household, Felix had always been the of the jokes in his high school group of friends. His mom, an anti-vaxxer in a witchcraft cult and his dad, a flat earther in a flat earth society. Even Felix himself, questioned the brains of his own parents sometimes. Regardless of having those genes in him, he did pretty okay in school. His curiosity allowed him to rise beyond the baseline of beliefs that his parents have attempted to indoctrinate into him at a young age and broke through a new barrier of knowledge. Needless to say, he was not a flat earther or anti-vaxxer. At school, he was known as the nerdy boy who participated in every in class discussion and often had questions that the teachers would reply “see me after class” to because of the time it would take to answer the nature of his questions. His friends consisted of a bunch of gamers, those interested in computers and science, so all his friends were planning to go into computer science and engineering, while he himself indulged into his interest in philosophy.
His parents did not believe in higher education and thought that University was a scam and was a part of a bigger scheme of things, even when they themselves were in a pyramid scheme. They were against his decision to go to University and told them they would not fund his education. That was fine by Felix, he registered as an independent and received student loans and off to Haneul University he went. He was going to pursue his dream of becoming the next Socrates and neither his parents nor financial problems were going to stop him.
In his free time, he enjoys reading philosophy books and playing video games with his friends. In the past he ran a tumblr blog where he went off on philosophical tangents ever so often and retweeted philosophical quotes. But after becoming a senior in high school, he didn’t have the time to run the blog anymore and so he left it to die. If one were to enter his room they would be welcomed by a shrine of Socrates head busts and quotes of the infamous man - and he brought all these with him to his University dorm room. One could say that he’s an otaku fan, but instead of for an anime, it is for a philosopher.
Personality-wise, Felix is very outgoing, curious and easy to tease. His friends often mimic him or when he starts getting philosophical and him being easy to tease, was part of the reason why he became the Student Council President - he was memed into it. He is very carefree in nature and forgives people quickly and tends not to hold a grudge. However, although very outgoing and friendly, his constant questioning to others and to himself has led to him being quite nihilistic. Because of this he does not understand emotions very well and struggles to provide useful advice to his friends who are in need of help. It’s not that he wants his friends to be sad, but he just doesn’t understand why they would be sad. Or why those emotions are worth feeling when everyone will cease to exist one day.
