Park jimin was originally human. As a performing arts major in college, he moved and lived life with a sense of grace. He was organized, thoughtful, and every single day he had a plan. Jimin was in control of his life and the people who came into his life. It wasn't until he visited a night club, searching for a night of fun and pleasure, that he lost that control. it was 2016 when twenty-year old jimin bumped into a mysterious stranger in the club: black rose. they hit it off on the dance floor and quickly became drunk in each other's movements. it wasn't uncommon for jimin to make out with strangers as a get away from his stressful college life and this alluring stranger seemed like just another occurrence. Soft, teasing nibbles on his neck turned into a sinister bite that would change Jimin's life forever. it was clear that there were two, protruding fangs inserting themselves into his flesh and he quickly realized he was falling prey to a vampire. though, rather than the life out of him in front of hundreds of people, the vampire seemed to be injecting something into him. before long, jimin fell faint and by the time he regained consciousness, the stranger was gone.

Jimin no longer had control over his life.

Since leaving Black Rose, Jimin immediately felt ill. his legs were weak, his vision was blurring, and everything just seemed so... loud. It was a miracle that he managed to return home. however, the symptoms continued until he experienced death for the first time. After days of feeling faint with a constant, agonizing pain weighing his body down, his heart eventually stilled. It almost felt like a fever dream. In fact, it was. The fever he had been running had caused his death, yet, after he awoke, he was still very much alive and with a thirst that could not simply be quenched. He learned the hard way that he had been turned into a vampire. why? Why was he chosen? four years into being a vampire and he still did not know the answer. he still is coming to terms with the loss of his humanity and slowly, but surely is becoming accustomed to his new life as a vampire.

He's in a constant battle with himself. Without the aid of a sire, he's lived his life in hiding, though he essentially lives as he did as a human-- well as best as he can. He suffers constant mood swings. His desires can surface in the heat of the moment and fade just as quickly. His personality is constantly having a tug of war with his kind, empathetic human side versus his mischevious, playful vampire side. Jimin is a generally optimistic guy, but he often hides his insecurities behind his performer's smile.
