After being forcefully sectioned under the mental health act, Alycia found herself in a psychiatric hospital. While some doctors have nothing but the patient's best interests in mind, other's aren't so pure of heart. She was just fourteen, an easy target, weakened by the countless pills they force fed to sedate her despite her docile temperament, unable to fight back, and that's exactly what her doctor had been waiting for. Someone powerless, someone he knew he could scare into keeping quiet.

Occasionally her parents would call the hospital to check on her, every time he'd tell them that their daughter's condition was worsening, that they were doing everything they could but discharging her would be a danger to other's and Alycia herself.  By this time the girl had lost hope, he'd told her that her parents hadn't made a single attempt to contact her and she was foolish enough to believe him.

Alycia blamed herself of course, if she hadn't been so unstable she wouldn't be here, if she hadn't been so weak she would have escaped. no matter the issue, there was always a way it could have boiled down to her own ineptitude.

In October of 2017, the door of her room had been left unlocked. Dazed and frail, Alycia forced herself to stumble down to the hospital kitchen in the dead of night. She didn't just want to escape the hospital anymore, she wanted to escape life entirely. By the time the staff had found her it was far too late, the girl had bled to death on the cold tiled floor. She'd died the same way she'd lived; alone and scared.

'Can she feel pain?' - Short answer, yes. Alycia is capable of feeling pain. However, the pain is only felt as the injury happens, meaning that while most will feel after effects of pain such as aching or soreness around the area, Alycia only feels the initial pain response. She's also incapable of receiving any physical sign of injury, meaning there will be no wound visible.

'Does she eat/drink?' - No. Though it is possible for her to actually consume food or drink, she cannot digest it. It'll remain in her stomach until she regurgitates it.

Can she feel if I touch her?' - Yes.

'Will my hand go right through her if I attempt to touch her?' - No. Alycia has a physical form, though she's pretty much ice cold to the touch.

'Does she need to sleep?' - Technically, she could go without sleep. Though she may enter a stage of dormancy if she uses up too much energy.
