; so she was a con artist and fake tarot reader, grew up with her con artist mother and when she died, she lived with her detective father which explained why she always got away with her crimes. until somehow she got arrested when her father died and instead of throwing her to jail, the cops made a deal with her mostly out of respect for her father and also that she had too much knowledge regarding the other criminals sort of stuff so in order to escape jail time, she would have to work for them and help them bring other criminals to justice. she was on a case when she got shot by some dirty cops who despised her existence in the precinct and also bc she was onto them. so now she just hopes to uncover the truth of who tried to kill her and get herself justice even tho she wasn't a kind soul to start with. (might change some details here and there but thats the rough idea ye)
