Born in Seoul but raised in Los Angeles, California, Aaron Youngmin Kwak is an easygoing guy who spend most of his formative years partying and enjoying the life given to him by his parents. His father was a foreign diplomat who took Aaron to the states with him, leaving his mother and her restaurant behind. There he lived comfortably for most of his life until he ended up getting his college girlfriend pregnant, something that made his family reconsider his laid-back LA lifestyle.
A little while after his daughter Hannah/Hana Kwak was born, Aaron was blindsided and found himself a single parent, with his ex voulentarily waiving her parental rights and leaving him mentally and financially strained. After a while of trying to work multiple jobs while being a single father, his mother offered for him to come back to Seoul, taking over the family restaurant in exchange for bringing her estranged grandaughter over frequently while he works.
Now that they've been settled into Seoul for a few years, he still hasn't made much time to go out, spending all of his time at work or out with his daughter. However, being around his family comes the natural pressure to find a partner. Stumbling across build a boyfriend was the perfect twist of fate for him, not so sure about the world of hybrid boyfriends but more than ready to have someone by his side...that is, if he could meet anyone who could accept his chaotic lifestyle.
Playful, friendly guy who always has something nice to say about those he meets. He's pretty carefree and laid back when in the mansion since he doesn't have much to worry about there, but can turn quite serious when needed, such as at work or when it comes to his daughter's needs.
