Park Chanyeol was the only son of a human and a half vampire, not that he knew of course. His Mother gave birth to him on the side of the road before a werewolf came and ripped out. The leader of the pack at the time took pity on the newborn, the elderly wolf ordering his pack to back off as he examined the baby. Being so young the child new nothing of what he was yet to be and realising this, the Alpha argued that they should take him in. Shunned by the rest of the pack the man was kicked out for even suggesting the idea and so he lived alone in the woods with his adopted son.

 

Raising Chanyeol as his own, the young boy never knew that he was not blood related to the man he called his Grandfather and he waited anxiously for the day he too would transform into a wolf for the first time. Plagued with worry on his eleventh birthday Chanyeol’s grandfather had no choice but to bite the boy while he was asleep.

 

Chanyeol continued to grow up but as time wore on they began to notice problems with the new werewolf, his vampiric blood didn’t seem to agree with the his new were wolf genes and it was quite painful for the young pup to shift, as well as his eyes remaining a constant gold, a sign that the he was always injured, always fighting with that of his own blood. Aside from that he tended to be very bi-polar with his wolf form, only being able to control himself if he transformed when he was at his calmest. If he transformed angry however, his wolf instincts were unleashed and he tended to devour everything in his path.

One day the pair ran into Chanyeol’s Grandfather’s old pack and something were revealed that never should have been; Chanyeol finally learned his past, how everyone had lied to him, how he thought he’d belonged all along, when really he never had. Erupting into a fit of rage, Chanyeol transformed and lost all control, returning back to his human form a few hours later to see himself surrounded by bodies and covered in blood…..including that of his grandfather.

Horrified he ran for days, bashing himself into trees, throwing himself off cliffs doing anything he could to punish himself for what he had done.

 One day as he was limping through the woods he ran across a small colony of humans and not that the creatures knew it they were slowly being surrounded by vampires. Unable to sit and watch them be  injured he leapt into action, fighting off all the vampires but leaving him terribly injured. Grateful to him the humans patched him up. From then Chanyeol’s has roamed through the forests day and night protecting anyone who needed and deserved it and he’s commonly known in these areas as the wolfen protector; easily recognisable with his red and black fur, no human dares to hurt a hair on his head.

 

Chanyeol still longs for a pack as any alpha would but he keeps this thoughts in the back of his mind; thinking of nothing but protecting those who need it.
