Growing up with her grandparents, Dahyun was raised by religious grand parents who supported her needs and gave her a strict tradition on how everything she should do by putting God first in her life. Her grandparents told her that her mother died from an accident as she was looking for her father when she was just a year old.

 

During those days she learned musical instruments like guitars and piano in her middle school and eventually joined in a band from their church.

 

She is not strict, but she doesn't believe anything supernatural. But slowly she starts to break her own beliefs when she was chased by a chimera, one of those are terrifying enough for her to believe it. Dahyun ran back to her house only to see that her grandfather was taken by them. One demigod realized that she can see through the mist and convinced her to join Camp Half-Blood. She was then taken to Hermes cabin as she was still unclaimed.

 

For Dahyun, she now believes that there are more gods and supernatural creature unknown to ordinary eyes of the others. She joined Camp Half-Blood for a week now and hasn't been able to figure out who is her godly parent.

 

Dahyun is energetic, sweet and huggable demigod. She is also like a mushroom, as she always pops in a conversation and slowly disappears when she's done talking. She is a bit pessimistic due to her beliefs coming from her family's religious tradition.

 

Her only weakness is making decisions as she is struggling to find a right way as her beliefs and the belief of being a demigod is making her difficult to read between the lines. She is afraid that she might decide the wrong choice for her and the others.

 

Recently, Dahyun showed the braveness in her heart to face one of the chimera who took her grandffather. She almost died from the attack of the chimera but she endured it until she showed the power of lightning in her hands before she was claimed as the child of Zeus.
