Her father met her mother at a party. They had fallen madly in love with each other and made love on several different occasions. Soon, her mother got pregnant and had her. Her mother wasn't ready to have a child though, due to a huge financial debt she hadn't paid off, she gazed at her newborn baby with pure dislike and regret. Pam's father was furious at the situation and had taken the newborn from her mother, which made the woman go mad in her hospital room. The screams echoed in her father's mind as he took the baby girl and ran. He wasn't fit to raise her though he tried his best. His house was brightly colored, he had huge groups of strange women come over to his house every night and he let a young Pamela drink small sips of his wine every now and then. Some deemed him irresponsible, but Pamela didn't see it that way. She saw her father as a man who loved to party but would cease partying if his daughter was ill or upset. He loved her dearly and was very doting and sometimes overprotective. He showered his daughter in lavish gifts and when she was of age, he allowed her to finally attend a party he hosted. The party was wild and introduced her to alcohol and drugs. She loved it. But soon, the wild parties would come to an abrupt stop when her father realized that her grades in school were plummeting. He felt guilty and didn't know what else to do. So, one day he left her without a goodbye and left his slew of women to take care of her.

Pamela was raised by the women in her teenage years. She didn't find out until she was 20 that these women were her father's followers. After receiving word from him that they could tell her the secret he had hidden from her for so long, they did. Her father was Dionysus, and her mother was a mortal who he had driven to madness after she gave birth to her. Pamela didn't believe them at first, but it didn't take her long to believe them after she had accidentally turned a glass of water into wine. After Dionysus had gotten word that Pamela had finally uncovered her power, he returned to her briefly to tell her that she had siblings and that in the morning, a man was going to take her to camp for demi-gods like herself. She hugged her father and they said their goodbyes. The next day, Pamela was taken to Camp Half-Blood and has been there part-time for three years.
