The Banished Prince

Kwon Jiyong aka Prince Anibus. Anubis is the god of mummification and the afterlife as well as the patron god of lost souls and the helpless. Jiyong is one of the eldest gods.  Prince Anubis eldest brother of two and son of Set, the God of evil and Nephthys, Goddess of sleep and night. Jiyong grew up in the desert in an extremely militant household. His father made certain they had the best education and work incredibly hard for a job Jiyong never asked for and thrown in a family busy he never wanted to run. When Jiyong finally turned of age his father set him up in an arranged marriage with Anput he refused to follow through with it. His family was ashamed of his son for making a mockery of their kingdom. As punishment, he was banished from the heavens stripped of his god-like powers and cast down to Heleo to live in the desert. Left with nothing but the mark of banishment Jiyong struggled to learn how to adapt to life on Heleo. For many nights he starved and froze on the street learning not everything in this world will be handed to you. There are sacrifices that must be made and only the strong survive. He fell in love with life in the sky as an airship pilot and the life of a pirate. He is now the captain of the Iceno and lives by the motto 'take what you can and give nothing back.'  Jiyong is now accustomed to being the very top of the food chain in terms of leadership, respect, and pride. While he can be truly warm-hearted, energetic, and capable of all kinds of success, he also tends to have highly inflated egos. Thrilled by the fulfillment of life full of adventure, mystery, drama, and excitement. Jiyong also expects to be highly respected, to the point of being worshipped. Unfortunately Jiyong this can occasionally cause him to lose sight of what’s really important in life.
