besides being an old soul, namjoon is anexceptional listener. he loves to listen to others and learn about their lives, more than he like to tell others about himself. he likes to think of himself as an open book, just not one with lots of words on the pages. he's everyone's friend, in the sense that he doesn't know any strangers- just new friends. he will always reach out to someone in need to do all within his power to help them. this often lands him in trouble because he's willing to give more than he has, often putting himself into minor debt to help out a friend in need.

 

on a regular day he wakes up out of a nightmare, showers of the dread that fills his nights, then goes to work. in order to get ahead and work toward his ultimate goal of being a world-famous rapper,  he works two well-paying jobs, even if he doesn't enjoy the work. his daytime job is being a delivery man for the doll lab where different dolls of various types are created unique. ever since his very first day on the job he fell madly in love with the idea of owning a doll and loving it until the end of his days. 

 

he has a special interest in the dolls, especially after having worked around them all day long. he enjoys watching the new dolls step out of the facility walls for the very first time and seeing their wonderous joy at the new world around them. his greatest joy is the dolls... and he almost wonders if he may someday become one of the talented dollmakers. but with this infatuation came a fear. 

 

one night when he was leaving work, he walked past the open door of the lab and saw something horrible- something that scarred him deeply. In a trash barrel just beyond the assembly line was a congolmeration of limbs, internal machinery... and faces. the dolls who weren't good enough. and that changed how he looked at not only the dolls, but also himself. 

another padding paragraph or two lol i probably should have figured out a way to make this all self adjustable but the background colour would've been an issue, i'm not quite sure if it's possible to make the background colour adjustable as well or not? if it is, let me know! otherwise, i'll figure it out on my own time(that's not now when i'm in the middle of assignments). if that happens, i'll adjust the raw code to do so!

what else can i talk about.. something rpr related? i've been struggling with a lack of fonts lately, i wish rpr had the ability to accept downloaded fonts from the internet because i don't really want to make jpegs/pngs/pdfs of text that isn't adjustable by users who may not be so technically inclined. there's so many font pairings i see online that are absolutely stunning! but we can't use them :/ i know it's not the fault of the site developer, the man has done so much for us already just by making this place! i'm also sure there's behind the scene issues to adding in new text that i'm unaware of, so i suppose we just have to make do! on another note; courier needs to be used more.
