Hybrid Information

• Fangs: Yes. Has fangs just like his animal counterpart. They are retractable to a certain extent, but they are always sharp.
• Venom: Inland Taipan's are known for their very lethal venom. Which Hanse produces. It is a daily routine to excrete the venom into safety jars. But he forgets at times (especially when stressed) and will end up swallowing it from time to time. It won't kill him, but it has psychoactive properties that will get him "high".
• Eyes: Like his reptile counterpart, his eyes are black with a red rim. They are round pupils when he is in a state of calm, but as soon as he is in a heightened state of awareness (i.e stressed or distraught or upset) they turn into slits.
• Tongue: Yes, he has a forked tongue. This is a special trait he inherited from his father who also has one. His mother does not.
• Scales: He has very limited scales on his body. They litter his back in soft splotches and line his hips.

Snake Boy

Hanse was born to an angel of a mother and a devil of a father. His mother was the pinnacle of his life. While his mother had all his affection and love, Hanse's father was quite the opposite. The man hated his son with a passion. And it was evident in the way he treated Hanse; even going as far as to completely ignore the boy's presence. His father was a business tycoon who had ties to the syndicate. He provided them with information and he was the Head's childhood friend. So to say Hanse's family was well off was an understatement.

While his father was busy with his own realm, his mother personally saw to Hanse's upbringing. She cared for him with all the grace and beauty that God had blessed her with. And he loved her with his entire existence.

As the years rolled on, Hanse grew into a well mannered boy who respected anyone he came in contact with. No malice. No pre-determined judgement. His mother was a Christian woman, and while she never forced religion down his throat, she made sure he was a man of good standing. 

So while his father travelled the world for business matters, Hanse stayed in the comfort of his mother's love. He grew up trying to chase the love of his father though.

He thought that if he could excel at school he would be loved.

Hanse came to find out, later on, that his father would not accept the snake boy because he was not a "real snake". To his father a real snake was cold, heartless and determined to do anything to get to the top -- just like himself.

But because his mother was a positive influence in his life he could not walk the road of heartlessness. He cares too much for his own good and his mother knew the boy would grow to have a heart too big for his own soul.

And she was right.

High school was a challenge, but that is a story for another time.

After a year of therapy and a break from school he found himself at iHybrid University. As a Freshman he cultivated a scholarly air where he delved into his studies and set his intentions straight. As a Sophomore he honed in his skill sets and regulated himself while also finding himself in the presence of what would be presumed a soulmate. As a Junior he made the heart wrenching decision of letting go of the one thing he was willing to live for and threw himself into furthering his studies. As a Senior... well, with his GPA well past the 4.0 mark he is prepared to graduate with Honours. Maybe thinking about a Masters and Doctorate? Who knows.

The one girl who actually made Hanse feel something. The only person who said it was okay to be imperfect. She was the only person Hanse had ever fallen in love with and is still the only person who holds his heart to this day. He doesn't regret breaking up with her because he loves watching her chase after her dreams. He would trade his happiness for hers any day and would do anything for the woman. Even if they aren't together, just know that he is very protective of her and will not let anyone stop him from showing her how much she means to him. Attempt to harm her in any way and you will be on the receiving end of his bloodlust.

 

•.*★ yuta。the childhood friend.

This is someone Hanse can rely on. He's an idiot and Hanse knows that, but he can't deny his affection for the male. Yuta has been a sort of tether to this world whenever Hanse felt like he was alone. This beam of sunshine makes Hanse feel seen... even though he's a colour blind .

 

•.*★ chaeyoung。the roommate.

Tough love comes in the form of his roommate. Chaeyoung and Hanse are alike in many ways. She says what Hanse is thinking at times, giving him advice even he wont take from himself. His affection for his roommate goes beyond words. She's a strong woman whom should not be messed with and he knows she will be just fine.

 

•.*★ xukun。the toxic ex.

The high school ex. The man ruined Hanse's life. He drowned the inland taipan in sin, drenching his soul in darkness while simultaneously stripping away Hanse's outlook on life. He is the reason Hanse had to go to therapy. He is the reason why Hanse also had to go to rehabilitation for venom addiction. He's the reason Hanse guards himself.

(+) DRIVEN - Hanse is tenacious in his pursuits of what he wants and what he strives to get. It is evident in the way he chases after his father's affections... even unconsciously doing so throughout his adulthood.

(-) STANDOFFISH - New people always get the cautious end of the stick with him. He doesn't trust people so easily. The last time he fully opened up to someone they ruined his life. So you can see why no one will every really know Hanse.

(+) PASSIONATE - No matter what Hanse does, he does with bravado. Whatever catches his attention (and keeps it there) will have nothing but his undevided attention.

(-) BLUNT AS HELL - Let's face it... there is no filter between Hanse's brain and his mouth. While this seems like an insensitive trait, at least you can always rely on him to give you nothing but the truth.

Hanse has a heart too big for even himself so he tries to hide that. He's put up a front since high school and anyone who is able to penetrate the armour he guards himself with will know when he is breaking. He has anxiety and is panicked majority of the time, but can you really blame him? But he is a caring snake. He tries his best to be forthcoming with all those he meets and he's laid back for the most part. A book smart, genuine genius he's also a basket case who isn't very bright. But he's easy to get along with once you really get to know him. He's also a huge flirt who will genuinely flirt with anyone. Just be sure to steer clear of the line bordering flirting and that "he wants me" -- he can assure you he does not and is doing it for the fun of it. His head is constantly stuck in books and he has no time for "fooling around" (unless you are that one special person).... and let's face it: IT'S THE FARTHEST THING FROM HIS MIND.

Painting. Drawing. Reading. Sleeping. Eating. Trying not to go insane. Hanging out with Friends. Spending time with his mom.

Now it would be safe to say that secrets are a secret for a reason. It's not very polite to ask for a secret if it cannot be exchanged for a secret of your own.

Losing his mom. Losing the person he loves. Going insane. His past. 
 

Biting into his lower lip when he grows anxious; he'll bite clean through it while simultaneously injecting himself with his own venom. Has a bad habit of not making time for himself.

Writing & Plotting Style

•.*★ writing style。 Right now, with work and school, I am doing semi para, para, and multi para. On a very rare occasion I will do Novella. I can do both script and third.

•.*★ plotting style。 Winging is fun, but having a general idea of where this is going is much better and PREFERRED. Even if you don't have an idea but a simple connection you want fulfilled, we can work with that.

•.*★ overall。 I am very flexible with how I roleplay. Please let me know what you are and are not uncomfortable with before rping with me. If it is important to you, say something. I am not a mind reader. So if my characters act a certain way and you don't like it, say something to me.

Activity & Reply Speed

•.*★ important。 Don't poke me. LIKE EVER. IRL takes priority over RPR EVERY DAY. So if I'm behind on replies it's my bad. But know that I am not always here. Even if I am in the chat room making a fool of myself, know that I can disappear at any point.

I'm usually very slow with my replies, sometimes because of the length, but sometimes because I'm just slow to do them. We can always drop/pick up our thread(s), but make sure you communicate with me. Also know that I might be active in the chat infrequently or a lot. I'm not a very consistent person when it comes to this.
