Some stuff to make y'all understand Katherine even more XD

- She didn't particularly like how her life had turned out, she never had been given a chance to live a normal life. Even when she was with her real parents, kids would call her a weirdo and a misfit. Her real parents thought that the academy would've been a better place for a child like her to grow up in; a place where people like her would not be discriminated, oh how wrong they were. With her real parents, she was too much to handle and in the academy she was below the standard. Her whole life was centered in living with dozens of other children in a home, cared by a robot and a chimpanzee; THAT was her normal. But what she considers normal was deemed bizarre by the people outside of the institution so here she is, hiding behind a writer's name and staying within the walls of Bumbershoot.

- Katherine still remembers the first and last time she displayed her powers to the media. The rest of her siblings were having an outdoor training for a newspaper to publicized the superhuman institution. Everybody else were showcasing their powers and Katherine was asked to stay out of it and just be by Grace's side by Sir Reginald. Feeling left out, young Katherine shouted to the elder man, catching the attention of photographers and journalists there.

"I have powers too!" That's what young Katherine said, followed by requests from the media people to showcase her powers and so she did. It was not apple blossom season yet at that time and she sped up the blooming of the trees surrounding the venue with her powers and once she was done with blooming it all out, the journalists all laughed and for it. As compared to her twin, Luther, who was Number One, her powers weren't as amazing as his which came out as a lousy superpower to have, considering the fact that the others had prominent and strong powers.

The incident made her feel small, the laughter from the media, Dad's disappointed look and the stares from her other siblings all haunt her till this day.

Katherine was born the same day as everyone else in the academy, on the 1st of October. What sets her apart from everybody else is that, she is a twin. Well technically for a few hours only. Her wombmate, Number One himself, Luther Hargreeves had mysteriously popped inside of her mother's belly and sped up the process of labor for her mother's otherwise, normal pregnancy. So when Sir Reginald Hargreeves came by to negotiate about adopting them both, her mother decided to let go of her unexpected child, Luther instead. Which then left Katherine to live in a normal household with her real parents while her twin got trained to be a killing machine.
At first, nobody would've guessed that Katherine would also possess superhuman abilities but at the age of 12, her parents couldn't take it anymore as her powers began to strengthen. One day in particular had forced them to make the decision to send her over with no charge to Sir Reginald Hargreeves. Katherine had been bullied by a bunch of boys at her school and she used her powers to tangle the boys up into the vines and ivy at the school's fence. Worried that she might misuse her powers for evil, they sent her away to the Umbrella Academy.
Pressured by being under the shadows of her highly favoured brother, Katherine was often dismissed as weak and "not good enough" by the man she calls "Dad". Having been called "The Flower Girl" by the media, she ultimately decided that she wouldn't be using her powers anymore and pledges to live a normal mundane life. But little did she know that her powers go deeper than manipulation of plants and flowers, she could actually manipulate every element in nature including, creating natural disasters.

She is a very sweet person who would take care of others before herself. Probably took it from her twin brother, Luther too. She's not as sensitive as her brother though and keeps to herself as much as she can. Although most of the kids in the house despises Sir Reginald, Katherine decides that she would just tolerate him and take him as he is despite all the hardships he inflicted on her. This is because her real parents do not want her anymore and she could only rely to Grace and Reginald for the maternal and paternal love. Katherine is a very insecure person who thinks that she'll never be good enough, probably because Dad had told her so, throughout her childhood. Her way of escaping is through her writings, poems and hymns that reflects her life in the institution. She is very patient, but her patience has a limit too and if she has had too much, she might burst out and destroy everything around her.
