WangEun Industries; aka the Silver King is a well known silver mining company that was founded by Adonis Eun in the Golden Province. Exactly 20 years ago, the industry's Paradisi branch was opened and during its opening, the CEO and his family visited to celebrate the growth of their company. While the father flew back to his company's headquarters, his wife and children decided to remain in Paradisi so that Atticus' older brother could one day take over the island's branch.

Along with his brother, he was given the best education money could buy and raised to become his parent's definition of "perfect". The family's first born however had no intentions on walking down the fate he was born into and became his mother's worst nightmare at an early age. Atticus was only 12 when he decided that at least one of his parent's children needed to step up for their family's name. Listening to every word of his doting mother, he became the perfect heir that his father had wanted.

Once Atticus joined the company's Board of Directors, the phase for him to take over the company immediately began. However, he had little to no intent on inheriting anything anytime soon. But after finding out that the mining business was poisoning the ocean with industrial pollution, he quickly realized change was needed...fast. Even though he was raised to become just like his father, Atticus differentiated in the fact that he still had his morals intact.

• at the moment, Atticus is trying to challenge his higher-ups to chance their ways and stop illegally dumping their waste into the ocean.
• his parents never really liked thalassans and prevented any interactions between their children and the "fish people". for this reason, Atticus doesn't know much about the other species, but has a slight curiosity to know more. he's fighting to save them from his father after all.
• at work, he's known to be a workaholic and fully goal-oriented. no one has ever seen him genuinely smile at work but makes sense. who'd want to smile when he has to constantly argue with a board of traditionalists.
• he misses his wild college days but if he has to sacrifice a few years to take over the company, he'll manage.
• he's the type to feel lonely even when surrounded by people which is why he needs white noise to sleep. also enjoys listening to the ocean waves for the same reason. used to throw grand parties to diminish that feeling as much as possible and has been trying to find a different solution since he's left that lifestyle behind.
• a jack of all trades but especially book smart - although he doesn't like to show it off  which is why he enjoys being a bit goofy outside the office
