THE PAST.
Originally an aristocratic family, the Deng household maintained their social status and economic relevance by ingenious investment of their fortune on several profitable projects such as hydro-power plants, extending their roots in culinary world and real estate as well. When born in such an exquisite environment, naturally Lun grew up to become rather superficial and narcissistic, acting as if he'd owned the world and everyone should bow before him. Being the heir to the Deng clan, he was spoiled rotten, adding more fuel to the fire. Despite it all, Lun excelled in both academics and extra curriculum winning several awards and trophies. He may sound ungrateful but the extravagance bored him quickly and he began searching for more interesting things to do.
His epiphany came in the form a very important person, his history teacher. The young Lun was deeply fascinated to hear narrations of an ancient world of heroes, kings and queens or the everyday miracles performed by common men. The immense respect for multi-talented individuals of renaissance, his favourite era in the history. He learned from the follies of strong albeit arrogant men and virtues of graceful women. Archaeology moulded him into a vessel of different design and for the better.

THE PRESENT, HERE AND NOW.
“Life is too short to be little. Man is never so manly as when he feels deeply, acts boldly, and expresses himself with frankness and with fervor.”-Benjamin Disraeli

Incredibly charming, good-looking and armoured with quick-wit, Lun is like a free-flowing stream in the process of attaining internal equilibrium. The ultimate "bon vivant", he flits from scene to scene creating little stirs before a quiet withdrawal in order to create something real from his inspirations and building a concrete platform for his visions. An optimist with a poetic tongue earns him a lot of attention but his indecisivenes prevents long-term commitments. Perhaps because he has yet to meet his soulmate, so he cannot help but unintentionally string people with his flowery words and sweet talking.
Lun hates to be alone and fears actually having to deal with himself and his own deeper motivations and emotions; thus, he turns to distracting dalliances with multiple partners to keep his own demons at bay. He can be an attentive lover who will flatter you with compliments and gestures of his deep appreciation for all that you represent to him. As long as he can iron out his own internal conflict between a passionate desire for freedom and a natural longing for partnership, marriage can endure as a true lasting union. Though he loves being fashionable, he will be burdened by expensive gifts, instead a date to an art museum or gifting a bunch of oddly printed socks will make him very happy.
