Bio: The key to longevity is discretion, it's the ability to blend into the background and slip through society unnoticed. It's being so non-descript that no one looks twice at you, that even those who speak to you don't remember you when you walk away. This is a skill that Taemin has mastered. He is a nobody, so much so that he doesn't even remember his own birthname. He changes his name on a whim and changes the story of his life like the wind changes direction. 
He wouldn't be able to tell  you how old he actually is, but he's seen civilizations rise and crumble, he's seen his people conquer and fall to near extinction, he's seen the fight for power wage for longer than the cities that scar the coutrysides  whose mark is left behind far longer than their memory. The world ebbs and flows around him and he is simply a passerby in the current. A wanderer, with a very dark and twisted past.
Legend says that the first dragon bore two sons in his likeness. The eldest son was a great warrior that went on to lead their people into a brilliant and prosperous era. The younger son was forgotten by history, having been cast out by their father and banished from his Kingdom. He was condemned to roam the continents, never to return home. He faded into the obscure past, and was never heard from again. Many even argue that he died, or perhaps never existed at all.  
Personality: Taemin is a very quiet type of person, not one to stand out if he can help it. He prefers to be forgotten, because it means less trouble for him. Some people would consider him an enigma, in reality he's just lazy. He doesn't want to have to fight with people, or take a stand to defend a belief, he doesn't want to risk his life for his people. He just wants to exist. He has nothing he is passionate about, nothing he would risk his existence to protect. As a dragon he knows his power is exponential, even more so now that dragons have become so rare but he wants no part of the quest for power. Power just brings trouble, and he prefers to stay far out of the reach of trouble.

Hundreds of years ago Taemin buried his only beloved daughter. Since then he has waited and hoped that he might see her again someday, but as the years passed he began to give up on her soul ever being reincarnated back to this world. It seems that his wait might finally be over though, crossing your path was an accident but perhaps it was fate, You are the reincarnated soul of his daughter, whether your memories are locked away, or you've been having visions, what you do know is that this stranger you've just met doesn't feel like a stranger at all.

Current reigning King of Dragons, Taemin is struggling to piece together a crumbling Kingdom. He is a man of infinite patience and wisdom, and is always open to helping others. Though he has spent many years far from the everyday drama of the world, he has recently returned to take his rightful place on the throne. Lord over a Kingdom of ruins he hopes to preserve the furture of Dragons not by bringing them back, but by teaching their legacy to a new generation.

Taemin began his life as an exiled Prince, in a land where dragons were quickly rising to power as a dominant force. Some feared him, some respected him, others resented him, and some who knew of him mocked him. Truthfully, he didn't care for any of these reactions. The world was chaotic and messy, and he wanted no part of it. Wars were erupting between barely formed nations as everyone fought it seemed for the simple sake of fighting. Taemin distanced himself from it all. He hide away in his own corners of the world and watched as the nations of the present slowly formed and the world became a marginally less destructive and chaotic place. As the world began to calm he found himself venturing out into the more populared areas again. Where he had spent much of his time before with outlying peoples, he was finally entering towns and wandering trade routes. 
It was during this time in his life, many countless years into his existence that he found himself married for the first and only time. To a sweet human woman who knew little of the truth of him, and only asked for a child. Taemin was reluctant to give this to her but eventually he agreed and she gave birth to a beautiful daughter. This fiery, fearless, passionate little girl became the highlight of Taemin's life. She was his opposite in every way. She threw herself into the affairs of the world and wanted to fight for injustices. She was a warrior and no matter how he tried to caution her she followed the beat of her own drum.

Magic at it's most basic is simply energy. The energy that exists at the core of the world and shapes all things. It brings life, and creates the cycle of rebirth as energy is transfered from one form to another. The magic that lies at the heart of the world gave rise to beings known as Ancients. Born of pure magic brought to physical form, Ancients are deeply connected to the world of which they are created. They are meant to be protectors and guides, defending the world from any threat that would endanger it. In times of peace they exist quietly, watching over the world and waiting for a time when they are needed again. 
 
Taemin knew, even when he was child, that he was not like his brother. Their father, the first of the Eastern Dragons, was a titan and as close to a God as any being could be in his time. He had a heart of stone and ruled with cruelty and savagery. The world trembled when he roared and his fires lit the skies and struck terror in those who witnessed it. Taemin's brother was much the same. He reveled in the fear of the people and delighted in their suffering. He saw inflicting pain as power, but Taemin had always known differently. He could feel the beating of the heart in his chest, and he could feel the agony these people experienced just trying to live their lives. When it came time for his brother to prove his worth when he came of age, he gladly burned an entirely village alive. He did not allow even a single child to survive, those that fled the village he tore apart with teeth and claws. When the time came for Taemin to do the same, he refused. He evacuated the village in dead of night and he refused his father's orders when it was demanded that he hunt down the villagers. For his weakness he was banished from the Kingdom and disowned. It was a punishment that Taemin gladly accepted. 

He did not come to know the truth of what he was until much later in life. As he traveled the world, meeting different peoples and learning their customs, cultures, and knowledge. He learned magic from every corner of the world and as he did he began to unravel the truth of himself. Though he was born into the world finally as a dragon, he has existed for far longer than his physical body as a sentient magic known as an Ancient. A part of the core of the world, he learned to connected with the deep magic that flows through existence. With this knowledge and understanding he has helped others to better understand themselves and their magic. He knows magic because he is magic, and he knows that someday he will return to the core of the world again when his physical body dies. He hopes to leave behind a legacy of knowledge, empowering those who believe they are powerless.
