There's not much behind Jeongin. He couldn't really tell you where he came from if he tried. All he remembers is the vast open area of the train tracks he grew up near. His best friend and only family member throughout the years was his loyal elephant plushy. It may be old and tattered, a little torn, maybe chewed, but it is forever Jeongin's favourite thing in the world.
Jeongin's cannot speak a single word nor understand anyone as he was never raised near humans or heard anything like them, he assumes that his barking and yapping can be understood by everyone so often tries to communicate that way and grows frustrated with himself when people can't, afterall, his best friend can.
The environment in the shelter is new to him, he's never been in an outdoors where the rain doesn't touch. Fascinated by the new environment, Jeongin loves to pounce and run around the entire place, sometimes causing trouble without meaning to. It causes endless frustration to other hybrids around him and gets him growled at and scowled at but He doesn't understand why and because of this, he is mostly on guard when he meets new people.
So far, he has managed to somehow get close to minho, who like a mother-fox (sorry minho, i'm laughing) took him under his wing and took care of him when others would growl. because of this, Jeongin is naturally clingy towards the older fox, said hybrid being the first parent like figure he has ever had.
Due to his lifestyle, he craves affection but doesn't know it. When he is pampered even a little, he can't help but purr and yip in pure delight. Humans and hybrids need to be careful of his high energy, lack of communication skills and understanding.
