history
chapter one.
The first few years of his life he grew up in a loving home with his mother and father, but by the time he reached middle school his home life began to take a turn. His mother was diagnosed with schizophrenia and his father, like many people at the time, did not understand or care to understand how to best help and care for an individual with schizophrenia. Changwook's perfect home life was shattered by his mother's illness and devolved into an abusive and angry environment. His father never raised a hand against Changwook, but the man did so against Changwook's mother out of frustration and misunderstanding of her illness and psychotic episodes. From that moment on Changwook served to try and defend his mother from his father and plunged himself into schizophrenia literature to try and figure out what he could do for his mother.
chapter two.
The older he grew the more he was successful at keeping his father away from his mother until the pair were finally able to escape and move in with one of his mother's sisters. His aunt was much more understanding and he was able to live his last two years of high school in relative peace with his mother well taken care of and in a loving home. Without an ounce of hesitation he studied psychology in college then went on to graduate school to further his studies in psychology and schizophrenia research. After he received his PhD, he continued conducting research on schizophrenia and speaking up as an advocate not only for the illness, but also for mental health literacy. After practicing for a couple of years and a slew of successful, groundbreaking studies, he was invited to become a professor here at the university. He now teaches a variety of Psychology courses and continues to conduct research and practice psychology.

personality
overview.
as a professor, Changwook is a very stubborn man that enjoys order and discipline. Although he tends to be a stern professor, he is also incredibly understanding when it comes to helping students out if they need additional help on an assignment or anything else. He does, however, despise students that clearly demonstrate no effort. Outside of the classroom his personality flips to a much more carefree individual. He enjoys going out, social drinking, and sleeping around. While he does sleep around, he does love the prospect of settling down as family is the most important thing to him. No one is more important to him than his mom and aunt, his family; so he at some point would like to have a family of his own to care that much about. He just hasn't found the right one yet and so he chooses to enjoy his time sleeping around and playing around until he finds the one.

writing style.
3rd and 1st POV. Will return what you give me. You give me a long response? You'll get one in return. Short response? Expect a short response. However, I will not force myself to write a long response if there's nothing interesting going on. Also, don't expect much if you give me a half-assed response. Life happens, I get that, but I won't put in effort that isn't recirpocated no matter the context.
pace & activity.
Sometimes very consistent and sometimes slow replies. That's what happens with the Big Sad and Anxiety. Poke me after (3) days. EST.
