- a childhood accident involving a thalassan has left her a little weary of the other species, but other than that, she has no evil intent to them. but she does do her best to limit any interaction with them even though she loves the ocean. if she ran into a thalassan now, neither of her flight or fight insticts would kick in and she'd more so channel her inner dear in headlights. usually this just weirds people out and they leave her alone: which is the ultimate goal.
- juniper was born in paradisi but her parents are from south korea and immigrated as small business owners who saw a better life here. she has an older brother who's quite protective of her so along with her parents' love, she grew up quite loved and protected from all harms of life. but she also works in the greenhouse her family owns so knows how to get down and dirty. because of this background, she values hardwork and is a determined and patient person overall. perhaps it can be said that from her closeness with nature she was able to take on the trait of being down to earth as well.
