Carmella Mancini had flirted with the mob lifestyle before. She had been the mistress of a mob boss in the city but unfortunately for her he had been shot in the chest by a rival family member outside of a cake shop. Carmella had moved to the other side of the city afterwards and quit her former job as a waitress. She now works as a daytime bartender and at night she works as a phone operator. 
Carmella is a feisty Sicilian woman who is kind but tough, gentle but knows when to get rough. She's also very sly and intelligent.
