Looking back, Taehyung’s life has always been quite a chaotic mess. A moment going by uneventful was a rare occurrence in the Kim’s family, and even then, nothing happening was already a suspicious thing for your non-standard Gaya family. With his father being the founder of the infamous ‘The Tap’ you would expect their little family’s life would be nothing short of a drama, and maybe you aren’t wrong. And in a household where drama paid the rent, Taehyung more than gladly took the front row seat. After all, whether you like it or not, life is going to happen the way it was always intended to, so why not sit back and enjoy the show? Of course it was easier said than done for most, but for Taehyung? He might have longed to see the world burn more than he wished for his own well-being.

Despite not being the most loving husband, Taehyung’s father was a great dad for him. Before ‘The Tap’ could even take off his father’s mind was set to let his two sons pursue their passion in life. And while his step-brother was keen to one day take over the company, Taehyung was lost in the endless sea of options. Even as a student straight from hell that had just barely graduated high school, with his father’s riches at his aid, the sky was the limit.

So Taehyung packed all his belongings into a suitcase, leaving Gaya and Areok behind in the long journey to find himself—which failed miserably. After enrolling into the university abroad and wasting 3 years of his life changing his major every semester, traveling the world, and falling in love countless times only to have his heart broken just as many— he cleverly concluded “life ain’t .” And if life throws you the middle finger, why bother playing nice?

In reality, Taehyung didn’t have any plans to return to Aerok, but a phone call coming shortly after the holiday season in 2021 had changed the plans. His father died... no, he was shot; murdered. The lack of media coverage didn’t help in finding the culprit, but with the nature of his father’s occupation? It wasn’t a shocker many wished for his death, specifically those who were often a victim to The Tap’s scandals. Suddenly, even the people he used to call family couldn’t be trusted, and Taehyung, who didn’t show an ounce of interest in The Tap his whole life was suddenly considering the path that has been there the whole time.

“Life is a comedy written by a sadistic,” they said, and Taehyung decided to unironically do just that. They wanted drama? He would gladly deliver.

Under his family’s nose he returned to Aerok, plotting his scheme as he went. With the right connection and enough money in his aid, he found his way into the heart of all drama—the royal family—forging his identity as a mere clueless, harmless, Goguryeo’s butler who is definitely not there to snoop on royalty for some boiling, spicy tea.

Despite his best efforts to impress people and pass as a witty youngman, there’s something unbelievably childish about Taehyung; be it the mischievous spark in his eyes, or the arrogant confidence he carries himself with. There’s something unpredictable about him, as he oftens says whatever crosses his mind and makes questionable life decisions that more often than not have something to do with something along the lines of a prank or a bet. So it’s safe to say no one would dare imagine that the moment the bright smile slips off his face, Taehyung could easily turn into your worst nightmare. Because who would expect someone who seemingly wears their heart on their sleeve, to also be the one to stab them in the back later on?

For Taehyung, life is never black or white and he finds it hard to tell right from wrong. As a true individualist, he sees life from his own point of view and sticks to his truth as wrong as might be, and while his actions might seem deceiving to others, in his eyes he’s doing the right thing... for the most part. He values his freedom more than anything else, always eager to try new things—be it in the form of a random new hobby, traveling from country to country, or his tendency to break up with his partner once he has had his fun with them. Despite longing for a romance and being naturally flirtatious (with whatever gender, no s given here) he has troubles maintaining a relationship, which often leads to him leaving them first once the ‘fun’ in it turns into a ‘task’.

— Replies

Generally take around a week to reply, will be quicker depending on my muse. Note that I will most definitely lose muse the longer you take to reply, so please let me know ahead if you can’t reply frequently.

— Plotting

Plotting is a must, if you approach me first please at least have something basic in mind. I personally like my plots very detailed and complex, preferably with some background. Hit me with those extra connections. Just don’t leave everything for me to plan or say you’re okay with anything, I won’t reply.

— Genres

My favorites genres would be action (anything violence related is a bonus), mild angst, drama, adventure, and angsty romance. Depending on my character, of course, I’m almost always down for more humoristic plots. I don’t fluff, slice-of-life, or domestic/wholesome kinds of plots.
