If anyone could say they were dealt with cards they did not deserve in life, it would be Juyeon. With an alcoholic father and an ill mother, the young man had to do all he could to fend for his family, or at least the two people that mattered to him; his mother and his baby brother. His father was also a gambler who'd waste all their money, not that they weren't already poor to begin with.
At the age of 13, Juyeon had to barely get through school while working at least 3 part time jobs. It was a struggle, but it got them to a certain point of stability. That is until his father found his large stash of money and took off with it all. All his life savings, every single cent stolen and disappeared without a trace.
With rage burning within him, Juyeon had vowed to himself to find his father and kill him if he had to. But he knew he couldn't do it alone, and certainly not in the country with little to no resources. He had begged his aunt to keep his mother and brother safe while he heads to the city to go to uni, earn a living and most importantly: make connections. Connections he desperately needs to find his father, whatever it takes.

Thirteen year old Juyeon came home to find all drawers and cupboards pulled out and disheveled. His father appeared to be in rage, yelling for money. He was drunk. His three year old brother was curled up in the corner in fear, clutching onto a worn out teddy bear. It makes Juyeon frown.
The day after, he decides to quit any extraccuricular activities to look for part time jobs. He became a paperboy, a part time cleaner at an academy in a nearby town and a babysitter. From that moment forward, Juyeon decided to spend any spare second of his days helping keep his family from drowning financially.
