until the ripe age of 12, lily moved out of magnolia to the cold climate of alaska. a lot had happened when she was 9, her mother vanished, and her father's addiction to alcohol spiraled out of control to the point her grandparents had to take care of her. she always felt different in her small town in alaska. she lived with humans who disliked her missing mother any part of her that was "magical", and no one else could know what she was. she felt like a part of herself was stolen as she had to assimulate with other humans, although there was a few hiccups with her powers when they did show themselves but it was all very subtle. In her senior year of high school,  it was also the year her grandfather died and left all his fortune to lily instead of his wife. it caused a rift between lily and her only grandmother, but lily always made sure to take care of the older woman until she took off for college. "greedy" was what she was called, greedy like her mother, the older woman threw at her when she walked out the door and back to magnolia.

Lily didn't know what to expect when she showed up to the town she used to call home, but seeing people openly use their magic made her world spark with wonder she was always missing. she also did not expect for her childhood home to still be standing for all the years it was left abandoned. the old three-story house had become "haunted" to her young neighbors,but lily saw the memories of her mother and father as she walked inside the old home. with her grandfather's money she could buy it on the spot, but it wouldn't take care of the drastic repairs it needed.
