blade is typically a man of few to no words (unless you are one of his three partners). he's cold and distant otherwise, and may be a little on the mean side (unintentionally). 

he's a (perhaps botched) reincarnation of an older blacksmith (yingxing), and typical of xianzhou natives, he is struck with mara, whose symptoms are still under research. while typical in long-life species, he as a prior short-life being is driven insane whenever the mara strikes him. his hair turns white and his eyes start to turn their old bluish color.
