tw: mention of death, abortion

sungjoo grew up in a loving family raised by his only mother. despite the imperfection carved in his background, sungjoo is an optimistic child and his mother is a big part of why he could grow up without having any insecurities or darkness in him. even though she didn't mention much about his father, sungjoo managed to make up a basic story about him: he got her pregnant before college and ran like a coward. then when the girl had realized, she only ran away from her parents who wanted this child aborted and started a new life.

it wasn't easy, but because of her perseverance, she gave birth to sungjoo and had him follow her surname, bae. the single mother was torn out between working two jobs while having to take care of the baby, but thankfully she had met some of the greatest people in her life who offered her their help in whichever form possible. bae sungah in the following years told her son to always be thankful to the people who helped them, even until now staying in contact with them when possible. another thing to be thankful is that sungjoo never met any bad friends and grew up healthily not being sickling, and he also inherited his mother's optimism. he is considerate and sweet, often taking care of people around him like how she had taught him, so he naturally gained a lot of friends throughout his school years.

his life has been simple and plain, nothing too major happening until college years, when he joined a band of five called ozone layer. he has known five other people (four members one manager) whom he considered his second family, and he distributes his love for them as evenly as he can. things only start to go on a different track when they made their way to hollywood, the mommy's boy stepped out of his usual living circle and coming to a completely foreign country, s and manager are the only people he had compared to the new faces in this big city. but loneliness would sometimes mess him up, as he wanted to be loved, as much as he gives out his unlimited love. loving people is not hard for him, but can he have those love reciprocated to him someday?
