Being the first born to two olypmic gold medalists, Jessica felt the pressures and need of constant perfection from an early age. Her dad being a boxer and her mother being a fisgure skater, they encouraged her to pursue sports: however, despite being born into the melting pot of the world, Jessica faced racial stereotypes and prejudices. Many of her school mates would . she didn't have much of an emotional outlet as she hated sports (specifically soffball and tennis) and only worsened her emotional control.

She found her solace through singing, a secret she kept from her parents in fear that they would be disappointed in her. it wasn't until she had entered high school and saw Boa on t.v who inspired her, she finally stood up for her dreams and her wants.

Her parents were not thrilled by their daughters decsion to go on a musical career path as it did not gaurentee a future for her and she was so young, still barely just a teenager. Jessica was willing to fail but she would not give up. realizing that jessica was serious and wasn't going to relent, they let jessica fly to korea to stay with her grandparents to audtion for SMent.

At age seventeen, a young jessica became a memeber of the group girls forever. the group would skyrocket to startdom in korea, having huge sucess across the world globally. they became the first girl group known as "the nations girl group" and in turn all memebers of girls forever had their name cemented in korean music history.

while in the group, jessica had gotten her business management degree and her marketing degree. Jessica would be the first member to venture outside the group and found her interest and passion placed elsewhere. due to her impeccable fashion sense, even being dubbed one of koreas most noticable fashion icons, she found love for clothes and designs. Fast forward, she is now the ceo and founder of her own fashion company located in Paris which is thriving in france and in korea alike.
