Bang yongguk was born to an omega who was the eptiome of the omega stereotype. this man worked hard to provide for him but this meant that most of the time yongguk was alone or told to go play so his mother could rest up for the next shift. He didn't want to upset them so he hid all his fears and worries away. His young mind deciding that this was him helping. If his mother had no time to worry about him then he was helping right? So yongguk forced himself to grow up thinking this was right. However he didn't really go out and make friends since he was doing as much of the housework as he could. Yongguk grew up a recluse. He would rather stay home and draw or read to brush up on current trends for his own stories. Thus he didn't understand how to properly make friends or socialize as he learned it all from watching television. 

In his teenage years, yongguk learned the hard way that his family wasn't normal. Family doesn't tell constant stories about or have police come over as much. Yongguk knew that. However he also figured it probably wasn't normal that some of the guys from his original pack kept comment on how big he was. He never knew what to do besides blush at the guys who called him their friend as they about his size. Yongguk never knew if they were trying to be mean or were jealous. These interactions coupled with his family being as they were made him feel like was allowed to be talked about in detail in public. In his early twenties Yongguk tried to start dating. It only ended with his boyfriends mocking him or dumping him for stupid reasons. He felt ashamed that he had to wait into his late twenties to lose his ity. It felt like no one truly desired him. Which is why he tries to play a big brother role or matchmaker role, never trying to find someone for his own.
