About ME!

Once an optimist that lost nearly everything, Hoseok is a bit careful about how he view things. He more often thinks about what the worst could happen before the best. However, he can be quite good at hiding his doubts. He also likes to try and praise others as a way of trying to make them feel better about themselves.
background!

Jung Hoseok was always quite the optimist throughout his highschool life. Things seemed to come easily to him, thus he believed that if one just thought positively, then they could achieve anything. This was both a blessing and a curse to him. With his positive mindset, it made those around him feel much more at ease. However, once things started to turn for the worst, it affected him in ways he had never thought would.
Not long after Hoseok had graduated from highschool, his family started to struggle financially. His father was out of a job and his mother struggled to keep up and provide for the family with her spa alone. It also did not help that his sister was in the middle of trying to find jobs in the fashion industry, having just graduated with her college degree.

The Jung family was a mess, their home needing to be sold in order to save his mother's business, his father and sister struggled to find jobs, and meanwhile, Hoseok had to give up his seat for university. The family moved to a small two bedroom home, the living room fashioned to be partially Hoseok's room.

During this hard time, Hoseok helped in his mother's store, obtaining a license as a masseuse to help her in any way that he could. She could not afford to hire anyone, and besides, it was good for the business. The older ladies always seemed to enjoy his presence, possibly for reasons that he refused to look at.

After about a few months, Hoseok finally decided to do his two years of service to his country, which allowed his family to have a bit more stability until he came back.

His time in the army was long and a bit lonely at times, something that he did not exactly enjoy. However, his constant free time allowed him to get into writing, sometimes writing joke articles for his fellow servicemen. It was this that he clung to and thus when he came back home, Hoseok decided that he wanted to go into writing.

At the age of 21, he applied and attended Saebom university with a major in English Literature with a minor of Creative Writing. Hoseok's family has managed to buy back their home in the time that he has been attending university, his sister opened her own store and his father is an assistant to the CEO of an entertainment company.

Due to Hoseok's doing everything that he could to help his family previously, his mother stresses that he just focus on school and not worry about anything else. Of course, at his age he still would like to have his own income and apartment, thus he has a side career of freelance writing.

out of character!

Please note, I always have muse, but it is a matter of being able to have time to write! I work 40+ hours a week, so I am not always available to write!
My writing tends to range from multi-para to Novella. I generally prefer to write in third pov over anything else but I'm happy to do detailed first if that's your preference. Keep in mind, I will always try and match you, but do not feel obligated to match me! I can get excessive when I write at times. Please, do not, however, give me a 3-liner
I am absolutely terrible at plotting at the beginning, I am best when our plot is already flowing or with adding onto your own plot prompts! Please be patient with me when it comes to plotting, I genuinely get stuck!
