Brief background: Jinhai is old. Older than pretty old. He left the sea for his legs as a young man though, assimilating to human culture on the fishing villages of the eastern coast of China. He fell into the business of pirating, finding he was a natural at sailing, able to read the ocean better than any man. He delighted in seducing his enemies and drowning them after capturing their ship, and even now he may lure a soul or two into the murky depths. These days he continues his career as a pirate, though now under a boss.
