The Kims, owner of one of south korea’s largest pharmaceutical companies, dealing with research, development and distribution of drugs locally and globally. Because of this, even though the kims are rather private people, they have always been in the eye of the public. Yet, within the family and business partners,  not known to the public was the underground business of illegal drug dealing, distribution and association with the mafia.

Born to a family of seven with a sliver spoon in her dad, step mother and her mother (the mistress), Kim Dahyun was the youngest and sole female amongst her other three siblings. One would think that she would have been the pampered princess of the kim family. However, behind the mask of a cheerful girl was someone so dark she never thought she once was. Not only was she being looked down upon by her other male sibling because her mother was simply a (read: mistress) to her dad, she had been force to conform with the harsh upbringing of the males in her family. between the siblings, rivalry was prevalent, there wasn’t one day that she remembers not being compared to her siblings in any way. broken down and batter was when she was 18 years old diagnosed with mild schizophrenia, for most part of it opting to cope with drug and substance abuse to a point she was once found overdose at the back of a club, still young and illegal at that point of time. After the media cover up of her substance abuse incident, things never got better for her over the years, opting to break away from beneath her parent’s wings in hopes to get better, she moved out to stay with a close friend (read: friends with benefit) before getting her own apartment when she got into Sabeom university, further away from her parents.

Now she’s a junior majoring in pharmaceutical studies. Even though not under the scrutiny of her parents anymore, it was a path set for Dahyun (all her siblings either majored in business or pharmaceutical studies) and she was no exception. she’s a student by day and an by night. (though she keeps most part of it under the wraps).
