Servals are medium-sized wild cats with long necks and legs that allow them to see over savanna grasses. 

They also have large ears and an acute sense of hearing.

Servals eat a great variety of prey, including rodents, birds, reptiles, frogs, and insects.

Chae Hyungwon’s creation was inspired by the idea of and demand for owning exotic pets: as the market for these animals is growing worldwide, the lab seized the opportunity to explore the range and reach of their products.

While servals are wildcats relatively wide-spread in sub-Saharan countries, Black Servals are uncommon to find in the species, usually sold and bid with high prices and traded illegally. Hyungwon seems to embody this exclusivity- although not conceited, he understood his worth too well, and tends to enjoy a more sophisticated lifestyle, meticulous about his own physical appearance, investing quite a bit of fortune in it.

Hyungwon usually doesn't boast or talk much, opting to keep his thoughts and feelings in his own head if not necessary or in unfamiliar settings, and choosing to be the observer instead, making him a great listener, analyst, and possibly friend. Yet his words and actions may turn unfiltered and bold if needed or allowed and once he’s able to creep in or break through someone else’s walls.

He often acts with certain intentions, determined to do whatever means to get whatever he wants once he sets his eyes on a prize- oftentime involving money and his hedonistic lifestyle.

He tries to view his relationships with his customers as mere business transactions, and while it may seem like he’s doing it for the money and other benefits (which to be fair, he is), what he fears most are attachment and eventual neglect-- though he would never admit it. His efforts to sustain himself and suppress his feelings are parts of the projection of this fear. Although covered in many rough layers, Hyungwon’s true affections are gentle and sincere.

To keep up with his preferred lifestyle, Hyungwon took advantage of his looks and skills to dive into the modeling world, and although his opportunities are often limited as an on-sale boyfriend, he had been in a number of photoshoots and runways, regularly earning enough to get himself whatever he wants. Insatiable though, Hyungwon also discreetly performs on live streams to gain even more, hiding his real identity under an alias and a mask. 

Skills & Interests: He developed his modeling and ballet skills at the mansion as he was being prepared for sale, his exceptional figure and visage being one of his best features as one of the boyfriends in the exotic product lines. Hyungwon also enjoys painting in his free time, as for leisure and his stress reliever, he would usually go shopping or traveling.

Appearance: In his serval form, Hyungwon is almost twice larger than the usual domestic cats, slender with long legs and short tail, coated in sleek jet black fur. His eyes are yellowish, almost golden, and his claws and teeth are sharp enough to attack and seriously injure a grown man.

In his human form, Hyungwon often chooses to hide his cat ears and tail even when he’s around the mansion, to avoid others and any customers who may touch him unexpectedly. When he does crave attention, he would usually appear in his serval form, preferring to be spoiled and petted without the need of saying or doing much.

Glitch/Flaw: Hyungwon couldn’t recall how or why, but he knew that he had been rebooted previously, which caused a particular glitch in his eyes. When experiencing any intense emotions (anger, sadness, affection, lust, etc.) in his human form, Hyungwon’s pupils would glitch and glow yellow just like in his serval form for moments.

Trivias:

- Prefers to eat meats, sweets, and fruits, not really liking vegetables.

- Smokes cigarettes sometimes when he’s tired or deep in his thoughts.

- His favorite scents are usually in warm tones like vanilla, musk, white florals, and cedarwood.
