bg: Growing up in the deepest parts of southern Japan in the mountains, Hiroki lead a quiet life taking care of his younger sister alongside his mother. However, when he was out hunting one day a yokai plucked her from the nest and killed her. Hiroki returned home before the yokai could eat her, and it disappeared. Since then Hiroki spent his entire life pursuing the yokai, leading up to a battle over the city. Equally matched, the battle ended in a draw, with Hiroki crashing into the nearby forest where he was saved. He has lost his memory of why he was where he was, and of his sister, and for now acts as a personal body guard to Basil.
