BACKSTORY。Born into poverty as the youngest of two, Blade became very close to his mother (which pissed his father off). His elder brother Erasyl had taken every beating for him, but Blade was still small and weakly. When an unspecified illness started taking the village by storm, Blade was unluckily hit with the virus, and he managed to outlive both of his parents before succumbing to the light calling for him. He hadn't been expecting to wake up again after death, but he woke up slightly paler than natural and with a thirst for blood he had never experienced in his life. Not much else is recorded between his turning and when he became the leader of Clan Sang Riche, but the thirst he had for money and being on top (along with the disappearance of his brother) caused his sanity to slowly but surely disappear until about 400 years ago.
LOVER。When he met Ceríse La Croix, he instantly was taken by the other human and saw a side of himself that hadn't come out in a long time. But Ceríse was a human, and humans don't live forever. Blade didn't want to turn him, because he felt that he himself was a monster, but Ceríse convinced him that it was needed. Now almost four hundred years into their strange relationship, Blade is only the softest boy for Ceríse, and he would kill to make the other happy.
