Long ago, there are two brothers who are inseperable in their youth, Lan Qiren the eldest. Lan Feihong, the youngest and the most stubborn wolf in their family. Lan Qiren was born to be the next heir for the leader of their pack and Lan Feihong was always on Lan Qiren's side, his right hand man but not always he follows what Qiren has. He soon became ambitious with his desire to be the leader as he had found one of the rare packs in the unexplored forest, an unnamed pack that has white hair, blue eyes, and the ability to control the earth itself, they are natives from the unexplored island that was soon inhabited by humans.

Lan Feihong saw the opportunity to advance himself to the leadership of Lan, but he was defeated by Lan Qiren who came back to banish the Wens from destroying Cloud Recesses. The trust that the brothers had was no more, the council decided to hang the youngest son for taking the leadership for himself but Lan Qiren interefered and came to the decision to exile Lan Feihong instead. The exiled Lan prince travelled far from Gusu with the unnamed pack with him, they made settlement from far north and eventually became a village for them to live.

The exiled Lan, then fell in love with a woman who accepted him for who he was. Then a few years later, she gave birth to a daughter, whose skin is as white as the winter snow, her hair is as black as night, then they named her Lan Minjeong. Lan Feihong slowly goes back to his own desire, now that Minjeong was gifted in a very young age with the ability to be the air itself. It is a very handy ability but little Minjeong struggles to control it as she cannot touch almost everything but she gains supernatural speed, she was then trained by her father on how to master it and taught her self-defense in the age of six years old.

His tutelage was harsh but it was for her, he wanted her to lead the pack but she doesn't deserve to be in that position. She wanted to be just a wolf that wanted to decide for herself. Her mother on the other hand, was approachable and always take care of her, she starts to ask if her father even loved her. Her mother replied and answered, "He loves you, he just did all the work for your own development. I love you, Minjeong, you are my daring child."

At the age of 10, Minjeong discovered her second ability to detect anyone by using the wind or air within 20 meter radius, this happened when they were hunting for food with her father which faascinated him to trained her more. Feihong knows that his daughter is special, just by using her abilities her hair changed from black to pale blonde and her lack of presence towards anyone is an advantage for her.

A year later, Minjeong woke up from her sleep to see the village burning into pieces, her eyes widen when she saw hunters and hybrids killing her own people. She had saved few people from them but she was outnumbered, just as they were about to shoot her. Lan Feihong and her mother protected her, they whispered to her ear their one last wish, "Go back... Go back where we came from..." Minjeong was confused as well as beyond shocked, she slowly dispersed herself into thin air only to escape from the hybrids who are hunting her down, she couldn't think anything as she was chased down through the snowy forest. Her heart is beating fast as she ran through the snow, tears falling as she finally cried for help.

She tripped and fell on the ground, few of the hybrids cornered her, she couldn't use her powers longer as it would lead on cracking her core. But a group of Lan wolves came to rescue her and defeated the hunters, she was then taken to the hospital of Gusu and treated there. At first, Minjeong was wary of the Lan wolves asking how she got here in the city and she answered that she came from far north. Minjeong doesn't know anything about Lan's history, as he only told her what she needs to know.

Minjeong was given some foods by an older Lan who is the only daughter of Lan Qiren. She was welcomed by her new family and knowing her uncle and her cousins. She lived in Gusu and starts studying, also taking part time jobs in the library as she needs to know more about Lan and other packs. She's now currently living with Lan Yeri's home after she was graduated from Fenrir Academy.
