Jungwoo was born into an alpha dominating family, his parents both being alpha and most of his family members being the same, only a few of them ended up as beta. So naturally he was expected to be an alpha, his parents didn't even think of another option, their child couldn't be a beta it would ruin their plans. In the end their child didn't end up as a beta, but he turned out to be an omega. His father was furious, this would ruin all of his plans, now there won't be anyone to take after him and his position, who would respect the second in command if he was an omega? no one, and that's exactly why Jungwoo had to be an alpha, even if he's physically incapable of doing so, he has to perfectly play the role so no one questions him. And that's how Jungwoo ended up as the second in command alpha for everyone but his parents who were the only ones who knew about his real sub-gender.
