timezone & response speed: gmt -10 / it will probably take me maybe a hour or a day to respond. depending on the day, i may have lots of muse and extra time to write a response. other days, i may have muse but no time or none on both sides. also full-time caretaker for my sick pup. i prefer quality over quantity and i don't want to give a half-assed response to whoever i'm writing with so please understand. also feel free to poke me after a week! i don't bite, i'm nice (:

You loved him, he loved you but love wasn’t enough to make it last. The months after he broke up with you, he became an entirely different person towards you. Cold, distant, and formal. Had you two not been apart of the same friend group, things would have been much easier and maybe he would have healed faster. You confront him about his behavior, saying this isn’t him and that he’s acting out, but you don’t know what he looks like when he’s not in love with you.

You and Taeyong had been seeing each other for the past couple months with romantic interest: going on secret dates, spending time with each other in the halls and unoccupied rooms of the broadcast station, and talking/texting whenever and wherever. All that you could do with such busy schedules. Though it didn’t work out quite well - the paparazzi snagged a picture of you and him kissing in his car.

: you need advice? he'll give it to you. you need support during a crisis? he is always there. you need somebody to kiss to get over your ex? taeyong is your man. he is the first person you will go to and he is always there for you. you take advantage of him without even realizing it. you get comfortable and expect him to drop everything with no questions asked. more to be added later.

: these two had formally met at a music show a couple years prior to now but not in the traditional sense where the younger groups go out to give their albums to their senior groups. you were getting pestered in an empty hall of the broadcasting station by an executive who kept asking over and over for your number and insisting on dinner with just the two of you. taeyong on the other hand was originally walking around to pass some time since the schedule for the show kept getting pushed back due to electronic difficulties. when he turned the corner to see the situation unfold rather quickly, he could visibly see your uncomfortable demeanor and decided last second to help you out, even if it would negatively affect him. that last minute decision ended up with him pretending to be your boyfriend even though you had never talked once to him. with his arm wrapped around your smaller frame to hold you close and lips pressed against your cheek for a short kiss, he asked what took you so long and mentioned that your group was looking for you. to get him to back off (hopefully) for good, he introduced himself as your boyfriend and said that you have to leave to record with your group. then without giving him much time to even respond or react, taeyong took your hand and led you immediately to a safe place. he made sure you were okay and this ended up being the start of your new friendship. on the way back to her group, they ended up bonding over talks of food/hobbies and places/things they want to do during their breaks. because of the easy and comfortable connection, you both exchanged contact info and planned to meet up. the coming weeks had given plenty of time for you and taeyong to get to know each other more, to the point where you both felt comfortable doing random together whether it was going to arcades, getting food, lazing around at the park, staying on video calls for minutes to hours, and even sleeping with each other.
