about me
35 years ago a cute baby girl was born to loving parents. Kwon heejin, her name translates to Kwon for 'Power and Authority' and Heejin for 'precious pearl'. Life couldn't have been more harmonious and beautiful for the baby whom grew into a beautiful little girl. Everything she tried she excelled at, be it school or her newfound love: dancing.

Heejin was six years old when her parents brought home her new baby sister. Kwon Hajin. As the big sister Heejin would dote on and protect the younger one in the coming years.

When she auditioned for the first time the label deemed her too young. Two years later she tried again at Stardom Entertainment. It was located in a small and shady looking building but little Heejin didn't let that stop her, with the support of her mother whom held her hands all the way she auditioned.

She succeeded but not as a dancer but an Idol.

Her debut in Korea was a success, at age 13 she was the youngest k-pop idol of her time. After this success, it wasn't even one year when she was sent to Japan by herself. Her Japanese debut however flopped. She wasn't prepared. The young girl wasn't accustomed to being accompanied by live bands and singing 100% live without backtrack while dancing.

A time of struggle followed in the foreign country and she was being constantly ridiculed and belittled. During this time she clenched her teeth and gave her all. Age 15 was her big break through. She was blowing up the oricon charts, in the second largest music market of the world. She gained everything she wished for with hard work. Her sweat and tears coating the floor of the dance studio but it was worth it.

When she was 16 her perfect life however crumbled down. Heejin learned of her parents divcorce and that her father cheated on her mother with his secretary. His other woman turned up with a child. While she stayed with their mother, her sister however decided to stay with their father and his new woman in the family estate. The pair of siblings grew distant, especially with Heejins tight schedule. It was a big surprise to her when she saw her younger sister with the trainees of Stardom, the younger never showed signs of wanting to make music before. The younger didn't even like K-Pop in the past but Heejin was happy that she could share her love for music with her sister now.

She didn't notice that Hajin changed. Missing the dagger like glares pointed her way.

Years went by and Heejin fell in love with a man who was her junior and almost 10 years younger than her. Of course he was an adult of legal age with 25 years but his groups Fandom made up rumors that she seduced their 'poor innocent baby'.

In the end the label which she literally carried on her back for almost 20 years and spent her youth on rescuing from bankruptcy abandoned her. They were canceling all her activities and refused to pay the penalties for breeching contracts. Leaving her with a debt of billions of won.

Her boyfriend? He broke up with her when things got too difficult. Later she saw a dispatch article of him dating an idol closer to his age. Everyone called them the 'nation's couple' and were very supportive of them. His new girlfriend was none other than Kwon Hajin, Heejins little baby sister.

In a rush she left Seoul to take care of her sick mother on Jeju Island. 1 year later, her mother lost the fight against cancer. Heejin wanted to respect her mothers last wish to forgive and start anew. She returned to Seoul and the Entertainment Industry.

In Seoul she successfully auditioned for Nova Lux.
