Born in 1880, Korea kept itself as a civilized country as United States had discovered the land by 1870s. Though civilized and stabilized, peasants grow restless as they were forced to work for the higher class to be provided by their earnings. A girl was born from a peasant family and she's the youngest among the three siblings yet she's the weakest among them as she was born with weaker immune system and they thought she might not survived until summer.

But her parents have faith and proved that she can live through the summer, she grow up with the assistance of her loving mother. She was a sweet girl and kind to others, always helping people that are in need and even ran errands for them. But one day, a group of pillagers raided their village and left nothing but burned farm and ashes. Her family forced themselves to moved to west, where they found an American cargo ship and they sailed to the west.

During the sail, her incurable sickness came back which they were scared until then. American sailors helped them to the infirmary and even the doctors doesn't know how to cure her, her days are now counted and they cannot lose their precious daughter. One sailor was one of the former scientists and told them that they can cure her once they reached their destination, America.

Once they anchored the ship to the pier, they took the poor girl to a carriage and they rushed her to an isolated facility where they can discover the sickness of her and find a cure. Once the scientist took her there, they start to examine the girl and gets her blood to have it checked. When they figured out that it was an unidentifiable sickness, there was no way she could survive... unless they kept her inside a cryo pod where in the future, they might find her a cure.

They agreed, including her two siblings. They loved Minjeong and they cannot lose their only hope that binds them together as family. The scientist proceed to transport her to one of their cryo pods, then they injected her a serum that could preserve her DNA as well as a serum that numbed any sensory nerves she had. When she was inside the pod, they start to process the cryosleep when one scientist informed that they injected the wrong numbing serum. They injected her the adapting serum where any element that she made contact will infused into her DNA. But the scientist who performs her cryosleep told him not to tell her family and left her, slowly getting infused to the ice within the pod...

10 years later, the cryo pod malfunctioned and opens the hatch, releasing the girl. At first, she was weak to move as the ice numbed her whole body, but in a matter of seconds, she woke up. Gasping for air, looking around as she was in a different place, but it was the same place. It was overrun by another company and they kept her for a reason to make her their bioweapon. She was considered a top secret named: Subject 11

She was caught but not until she discovered her power, she controls the ice around the area and decapitated them before she ran away. The company starts their search for her and considered her as a runaway specimen. That was the last time she was heard by her remaining family...

In 2019, the city was shocked to see a new hero appeared in every cameras and smartphones, she called herself as Winter. She can manipulate ice and be like an ice, children loves the hero as she has compassion and has a will to protect the innocents.

Also with the new hero, there's also a new girl in town. Introducing herself as Kim Minjeong and was working as an errand girl and a delivery girl, she seems kind and always up for a challenge. But where are her parents? Does she have relatives? Why is she living alone?
