As a child, Using had two passions. Judo and Dance. She trained in both from a young age, participating in competitions all across Japan, until she turned 12 and fell out of love with Judo. It's possible that she was just overwhelmed and under too much pressure from the competitions, but nobody tried to stop her from quitting. Instead she focused everything into dance, focusing on her classes and the showcases her school did. That's how she was scouted at the age of 14. She moved to Korea to attend auditions and got into the company, training for years until she debuted as one of the main dancers of Cosmos 

 

Trivia:
She most enjoys dances with some acrobatic elements in them
She has a very expressive face and struggles hiding her emotions
Hates being alone, unless she's practicing
Has a higher pitched voice and a narrow singing range
Despite her narrow range, she's very stable in that range, even when dancing intensely
Her favourite movie genres are sci-fi, horror, and fantasy (she cries over a lot of fantasy movies though)
