levi was born with a warrior’s spirit.

what else he was born with was a raging passion for music and an irregular heartbeat. the heartbeat thing was of more pressing matters, of course, and levi received surgery before his first birthday. and he was fine, for the most part. the thing is, when you’re an only child and a fragile one at that, your parents tend to smother you with their worries. and they did. kinda.

levi grew up in london and had a childhood laced by equal amounts of luxury and loneliness. his father a ceo of some tech company, and his mother a novelist. apart from the constant reminders of “take it easy, think of your heart” thing, levi was left alone for the most part. left to roam around on his own. homeschooled and spoiled.

his parents were way too young when they had him and busy with their own pursuits. but as any kid with neglective parents eventually would, even a timid child such as himself would eventually snap. rebel and start fights at the playground just to get their attention, because even a scolding would be better than nothing at all. though all he ever really gained from throwing fists was the usual “think of your heart” from his mother and a backhand from his father.

levi is thirteen when it all goes to . like, really goes to . and it happens when his father is accused of fraud and eventually loses his position in the company. and it’s shame that brings on the move to korea and back to their roots. and it's while navigating through all this pain and confusion that levi really falls in love with music.

three years later levi goes on an audition at lunar entertainment with four demos already posted on his soundcloud. he steps into the room with a hand tapping out a rhythm against his chest that’s far more steady than the one of his heartbeat, with skeletons in his closet and the confidence of someone who’s already made it.

negative traits ➝ would rather break both legs than ask anyone for help. untouchable and tends to come off as arrogant. a perfectionist who's his own biggest critic. tends to soak up bad energy like a sponge.
