he didn't care when the two worlds collided, the multiverse as they called it, but he was fascinated. already amazed at the fact that the world had countless mutants and enhanced, then came another world with the same, so why was he the unlucky one without any powers?

drowning himself in schoolwork and games, aiming to at least have an opportunity with stark industries or another tech company, it came to him as a surprise when he woke up one day to a status bar hanging over his roommates head. the first thing he could think of was "damn, gaming addiction really got to me" but wherever he went, bars were above everybody's heads, some of them were clear, and some of them hidden. the next thing he knew after receiving an school assignment was a quest log popping in front of him, and as he timidly accepted the task and completed it home alone in the dead of the night, an aura glowed around him, various status windows popping up, indicating that he had leveled up, and that he had skill points to spare. that was when he knew he had achieved a power completely optimized for him after tens of thousands of hours poured into gaming.

he himself HAD become a game character set in the real world.
