background
Ever since he was a child, Dongha dreamed of working with music, creating music, breathing and living music. He was never really interested in school or any other subjects aside from photography or art-related subjects, but even so everything seemed easy to him, he didn't need to do much to achieve what most desired to.

His parents got him into figure skating when he was younger, and he became really good at it. It wasn't something that came even near to his love for music, but it was a sort of comfort activity for him at least. He would later quit training professionally, but would keep coming back to it when he would find himself in stressful situations.

At the age of 15 he auditioned for his first entertainment, automatically being accepted for his rather advanced skills (for his age). He was told that, with his set of skills, he would debut in no time and so Dongha kept practicing, taking in every word of advice or criticism he got, believing that anytime he would be informed of his group's debut date.

However, things didn't exactly go as planned. He saw his friends, his previous team mates, debut together and achieve everything he wanted to achieve and just like that 4 years went by. He changed companies 4 or 5 times, he couldn't actually remember, but in every single one he faced the same situation.

Dongha was 19 years old when he first thought that, despite all his efforts and his love for music, he wouldn't be able to debut. Although uncommon, there were still trainees that would debut with his age and so he fought back the thoughts of doubt and kept praciting, now improving secondary skills such as producing, choreographing, modeling and acting in hopes his broader set of skills would impress the producers and that it would finally allow him to debut.

A year or so went by and still no talk of debut was on the table. Frustrated, and not understanding why after all his efforts he wasn't being allowed to follow his dreams, Dongha decided to create a youtube channel, naming it 'Honey Boy', which was a nickname given to him by someone he worked with in the past. However, he didn't want anyone to know who he was, he only wanted to display his talents and his love for music, he wanted to be noticed (and secretly wanted people to compliment him and for them to realise just how much effort he put into everything he tried).

At this point, a lot of the different trainees and idols from the most diverse companies knew who he was, and most admired not only his talents but also his perseverance and dedication. Most of them would have quit by now, and would probably be working in something completely unrelated to music. But Dongha couldn't even imagine doing anything that wasn't somehow related to his passion, it was never an option for him.

Dongha is now 25 years old. His youtube channel is one of the most popular among those with the same content and he is fairly happy with the community he was able to build, yet he feels lonely. He never planned on working alone. Working with people, even if he had to see them debut without him brought him so much joy. Of course he appreciated every single one of his viewers (he didn't like to call them fans), but there was just something missing.

Because he had such a strong passion for music from a young age, he dedicated most of his childhood and teenage years to anything related to it, and anything else was just simply not interesting. This meant that, until he got into his first entertainment and got to work with people with the same dream as him, he didn't have any friends.

Now he knows a lot of people in the industry, but they're all extremely busy and rarely have the time to explore or collab with other artists, let alone trainees.

Even though deep inside he is aware he will most likely not be able to debut at his age, he clings to hope and to his love for music and refuses to quit. But as the years went by, his doubts kept growing and he couldn't help but think he would eventually have to get a job. Producing side tracks for groups in his company didn't quite allow him to live comfortably. Most of the time he would actually sleep in the practice room, passing out because of how hard he practiced.

The thought of becoming a trainer or even a producer crossed his mind a few times, it was a way to still be in contact with music, even if it wasn't his original plan. However, due to the constant rejection, deep down Dongha became really self conscious of his abilites and so he feared he wouldn't be able to help the other trainees, or that his songs would always be set as side tracks and never get much recognition.

At 25 years old, Dongha joins a new company, all the way across the country, a company where he knows no one and where probably no one knows him. Will he finally be able to get the recognition he desires?

Hi hi :3
You can call me Cat or Nami (22 y.o, GMT +0)
I'm really new to roleplaying so I might not be extremely familiar to roleplay terms, I promise I'm doing my best though ;-;
I'm not extremely good at coming up with the base idea for the plots but I'm pretty sure I can come with some good ideas once the overall theme is chosen!
I can do any pov, but so far I noticed 1st pov seems to be the most natural for me.
Since I'm really new I will 100% prefer to plot, especially if I don't know the character very well!
I'll honestly accept 99.9% of any plot you might suggest so feel free to dm me if interested ^^

I'm currently studying and working, but during night time I'm pretty active, so it really shouldn't take more than a day or two for me to reply ^^

Life is like photography. You need the negatives to develop.
