it's the way that he looks harmless. the natural, upwards curl of cherry hued feline lips. the glassy fog across slightly mismatched eyes. the paper thin frame. compared to his compatriots wonwoo seems to be the lamb rather than the wolf- and he has long since learned how to play the lamb, as well. slow, docile movements, or a childish pout, or the way he would let somebody manhandle him without true resistance. he is the bait and the gun that lies behind it.  

when had he realized that he'd started to enjoy each time a body fell at his feet? somewhere between fighting simply to breathe another day and sitting on his little throne of thorns wonwoo had lost his ability to feel. prey was just... prey,  and each of his knife brought more exhilaration than anything else in his boring existence. besides, the money was good. and money was the one thing he could trust in this world, wasn't it?  

beyond the occasional excitement from each mission, wonwoo is bored out of his mind with this world. being the weaker species he feels like an animal trapped in a zoo, developing destructive tendencies purely because he had nothing better to do with himself. there is a certain aspect of childish naivety with the way he interacts with the world, perhaps because he has never felt the need to... become an adult. it's not a good thing, but then again, good things didn't exist in this world.

Money, that's all it was. For Wonwoo who was born too far away to be collected to a facility when he was young, it was easier to make his living on other people's blood rather than his own. It didn't matter to him whether the bodies at his feet were human or vampire- but he has since learned that those with fangs fetch a higher price. He isn't a hunter in the conventional sense, having never been formally taught, but all the same his ticket here was a bounty on the head of one of the vampire workers. But he had never expected the life inside to be so... docile. For somebody who had lived only on the notion of making enough to sustain himself, the blood farm has somewhat rocked his worldview.
