the tldr; with few memories of life outside of the blood farm, mashiro has been a donor for as long as she can remember. with her bright and caring personality, she tries to befriend people wherever she goes. while most people find it weird she has such a sunny outlook on life, most can't help but be a little fond for the girl. most people don't take the time to ask her more questions, taking her at face value. however, if you take the time to ask her more, you would find that mashiro is quite thoughtful. her unassuming nature and lovely dimples can be seen all around the blood farm bringing some sort of respite to even the gloomiest of residents of the blood farm.

sakamoto mashiro was born in winter in an apartment that was chilly because the residweren't able to pay for heating. her parents were convinced that mashiro wouldn't survive the winter, but she did and she thrived as well. she struggled with her parents in the cruel world until she was five. her parents made the decision to move them all to a blood farm - ultimately wanting mashiro to grow up somewhere safer than the streets. mashiro doesn't remember this part of her life well, and has only retained the positive parts of her childhood - of which there are few memories but most include her parents' smiles and telling her they loved her.

however,  her parents passed away quite early on and she was left to be raised on the farm. she didn't start her donor duties until she reached adulthood. in the meanwhile though, she took on a variety of hobbies and busied herself with many things around the farm. with big innocent eyes, she asked various vampires and humans on the farm to teach her things such as gardening and sewing. in particular, she's always found the uniform of the blood farm to be dull and boring so she took up sewing and other similar things to make things for herself that she finds fun and fashionable.

personality-wise, she's generally described to be a very bright and lovely soul. she strives to get along with everyone at the blood farm, but is quite aware of who tolerates her and who does not. mashiro is polite and kind, and can be seen smiling with her dimples most of the time

because of that personality though, while most people find her non-threatening and tend to just ignore her or get along with her. she doesn't have enemies because she just is someone that is useless to have as an enemy. she wouldn't even retalitate. it is easy to befriend her and she thrives from having many people to spend time with. she enjoys leaving the farm but only with a vampire - because she's lived so long on the farm, the outside world is a bit terrifying to her.

there are a few quirks about her that may pique the interest of many though. first being, she doesn't talk about her life outside of the blood farm at all. most people know she came young and may not retain any memories, but she never talks about her human parents at all. if someone asks her about them, she redirects the question or simply says "let's not talk about this now" in a gentle tone. she also seems unafraid of vampires and accepts their individuality and fangs as they are. there is an incident in the past where one of the rogue vampires tried to attack her outside the farm but, she was calm throughout the whole ordeal, even when bleeding out. she had the calmest look on her face and was the one reassuring others that everything would be fine. she also does not speak of that incident. she may look small, dainty, and foolish. but, you would be the bigger fool to assume that she doesn't see deeper than she lets people think.

food, flowers, reading, writing, singing, gardening, swimming, sewing, knitting, crochet, diy projects, fashion, affection, star gazing (even if she doesn't know any of the constellations).

crying, spiders, loneliness, betrayal, needles (which is why she is a direct feeder), storms, pain (physical or emotional). 

doesn't have a preference for what spot a vampire chooses. will let the vampires she is particularly friendly with feed on her outside the chambers. those are only a select few though. 

incredibly observant, very forgiving, always smiley, extremely polite, unusually bright, most likely calm, dimples always on show, not as innocent as she may seem.

vampire. whenever mashiro gets the urge to leave the farmgrounds, she seeks you out to accompany her. usually equipped with gardening equipment she so lovingly asked for and a bag of seeds, she usually tends to the flowers in the park. she's carved out her own little corner where she maintains the once unkept pavillion in a relatively hidden area. mashiro trusts you without a doubt and assumes you'll never hurt her. you could take her anywhere and she wouldn't question a thing. what do you think of mashiro? do you mind her making you her token travelling buddy? why do you spend so much time watching the dimpled girl garden?
