BACKGROUND
Dongyeol has always been the "genius child" of the family. He would join quiz bees as a kid and he would get offers of scholarship from different schools. He even skipped a couple of grades before getting into highschool. They are lower middle class so for his parents, it's a real blessing that Dongyeol was born with what they call his gift. Dongyeol was happy that his parents were happy for him but he could not help but feel like his childhood was stolen. He spent more time studying instead of playing with other kids. He got bullied when he was younger for being a "nerd". He had that constant crippling fear that one day, he would not be good at what he does anymore and he would disappoint everyone. He does not hold it against anyone though. If anything, the good outweighs all the bad when he looks at it more optimistically. After graduating highschool, he got into a good university and after finishing his course, he managed to land a position in the local research facility.

He is playful and affectionate and is not very smart outside of the books he read.

This mistake just happened to be a little worse than the rest. The two of you had some sort of affair. You don't even love each other. You just do things with each other for the sake of it. When Dongyeol's first love found out about the two of you, it was the worst thing that happened into his life. So, why does he keep coming back to you and keep making the same mistake?
