For as long as Hongjoong could remember he had grown up in a small run down orphanage since a very young age, located in a secluded village near the woods. Unable to recall any memories from his family, he had no one to wait for him once he was out of there. He was often made fun of having superhuman abilities due to doing exceptionally well in gymnastics, his stamina unbeatable. Being the troublemaker that he was he chose to leave the orphanage at the age of 14, both because he was unwilling to live according to their rules and also because they were running out of supplies, being the eldest he took the responsibility of carrying for his own self. He took shelter in an abandoned cabin hidden deep among the woods. Unware of his true nature, he has survived there my occasionally hunting for food and also running some chores for the old villagers who know his situation and some of them even treat him as their own grandson.
