bio ; most people would be jealous of the wealth and privilege that jingoo was raised in. jingoo was want for nothing during his childhood; except, of course, the love of those around him, especially his mother. he did his best to please her as he grew up. got good grades, made sure to be on his best behavior. when he did something she liked it was met with praise and affection, but if he did something "wrong" it was like her love for him was shut-off. [ more to come. ] jingoo was essentially forced into becoming an assassin by his mother who seeks to claim even more prestige within the jeonsa faction. with his ability to adopt personalities, jingoo can become a ruthless killer or an intelligent spy at the drop of a dime, and his shapeshifting ability assists him in infiltrating places unnoticed. the perfect weapon, as his mother would call him; if only he wouldn't turn into a sniveling wreck once all is said and done.

*personality adoption (ability to take on the personality of another person, essentially temporarily shoving his own personality deep into his consciousness to be replaced by the new one (by "personality" i mean someone's reactions/feelings to certain things, includes trauma responses, likes & dislikes, if it's someone who feels a lack of empathy then he too would have a lack of empathy, etc.))
*shapeshifting (which is pretty self-explanatory, but for his specifically he can only look like other actual people, and he cannot turn into objects/animals, just humans)

*while jingoo only has two (2) actual powers he believes that he has a third ability due to his mother's influence. his mother has the power to manipulate someone's memories and plant subconscious/conscious thoughts or ideas in their heads, and she has done so with with her own son. jingoo believes that his third power is subtle attraction, ie. inducing positive thoughts/feelings in other people towards himself. this means that jingoo believes all his positive interactions and relationships are not because of himself, but because this ability is making people subconsciously like him and view him in a positive light. he also believes that the only person immune to this ability is his mother, because she has told him so. this is part of the reason why he continues to cling to her and her "true" affection despite how poorly she treats him.
*due to the nature of his role and the fact that it actually goes against his entire true personality, jingoo avoids talking about it as much as possible. he also tries not to think about it either, because he can easily spiral into a very negative headspace. he is prone to panic attacks when extremely overwhelmed.
*(if you can tell i ripped parts of this character from jingoo's roles as han joowon (beyond evil) and eun gyehoon (link) no you don't)
*jingoo tries his best to be a good person, he really does. there are things he says or does that may offend people, but they are not on purpose, he is simply put, pretty terrible at social interaction sometimes. he always looks happy and well-adjusted because he does not want to make people uncomfortable, but sometimes people can tell that there is always a hint of fakeness to it, like he's wearing a mask. 
*in reality jingoo would very much like to leave his mother and his faction behind for good. he wants nothing to do with any of the factions or the world of the awakened, he would just like to live out his days peacefully among regular people. but when in the jeonsa faction he must earn his keep, so he does not rebel.

you are well aware of the power and influence jingoo's mother holds within the jeonsa faction. the han family name is quite well-known, as they come from a long line of law enforcers and political leaders. wealth and security is something you've been craving for a long time, and you see befriending jingoo as a step on the ladder to get closer to his mother, the true authority. maybe if you get in her good graces you'll be offered a job, or at least a more influential position within the eyes of the faction. jingoo isn't aware of your true intentions at first, but he's also not an idiot; he'll figure it out eventually.

there's someone important to you, someone that you've lost; are they merely out of your life? or are they disappeared, maybe even dead? no matter the reason, you are shocked to find this person walking around on a plain, ordinary day, as if they had never left in the first place. you go to them immediately, burning with a need to talk to them, see them. what you don't realize is that this isn't that person at all, but jingoo taking on their appearance. what will you do if/when you find out? are you angry, or do you perhaps wish to bask in the illusion of that person's return?

you've seen jingoo before, many times in fact, but never as himself (though you're unaware of this). every time you've seen him in the past it has been when he's on a job/mission as an assassin, and as such, you've only seen him when he has adopted the proper personality to take care of the job. he's cold, ruthless, cunning, maybe even terrifying - so it's confusing to you when you see him now, acting a bit like a skittish dog and actually smiling for once, though it's somewhat awkward and stilted. just who is this man and why is he so different?

this is how you first meet jingoo - "can you help me? i don't know who i am." unfortunately, due to overuse of both his personality adoption and shapeshifting abilities, jingoo has confused himself enough that he's lost his true personality somewhere inside his labyrinth of a mental landscape. memories of being other people have blended together enough that he feels a bit like lukewarm soup. it's obvious that in this state jingoo is malleable, open to influence. you can either choose to help him in recovering his true self, or take advantage of his weakness and mold him into something useful to you.

unlike a lot of people in jingoo's life you truly, genuinely care for him. you wish he didn't have to go through so much, and you're always doing little things to help him like bringing him snacks or sitting down with him when he just needs someone to be there. jingoo also tries to help you when he can as well. unfortuntaely, though he usually enjoys your presence and your affection, he also doesn't believe it's real. he thinks that you're being nice to him because of his faux third ability. so you've been making an effort to try and knock some sense into that dense noggin of his that you're by his side because you truly want to be, not because of any influence he may have over you. it's a work in progress, but you're getting there.
