an encounter of fate was the story between french spy claude alarie and japanese awakened cho ehara. tbc.

– Claude moved in to be with Cho in Japan to support her versus her family who is trying to estrange her. While Claude took a break in his duties, Cho bore a daughter and planned to raise her in the awakened society despite Cho’s battles against her own family. At the age of 7, glasses started to break within Mika’s room and an arrow mark appeared behind her right ear. 

– Due to the continuous strained ties between Cho and her family within the Koi faction, Mika had to live away from the society of the awakened and wasn’t able to attend such academy fitted for her. It was resolved that she was only to be homeschooled under her mother and trained as a spy by her father. Cho resolved to teaching Mika with scrolls and her own ability as a mother, while Claude pondered about sending her to France to be properly trained under his agency.

– Claude had no idea what had happened to his wife, but he had a clue who could be behind it and what the dreams Mika kept having meant. He sent Mika to France for the time being to continue her espionage training and keep her safe from the ongoing cold war with the Ehara’s. 

– It was difficult to keep up with everyone else while trying to control her newfound powers from the world she was supposed to keep it secret from. Mika performed averagely with the other trainees, doing badly in stealth training but excelled in combat and weaponry. 

– Due to her deteriorating condition, Mika was taken back by her father after matters had sizzled down back at home. She continued to read the scrolls in order to understand herself more and practiced on her own to be able to gain back control of herself. 

– Only set to free her mother from her curse, Mika set her way to South Korea to find a cure. She was placed under the faction Jeonsa in the guise as their oracle to explore their archives and search for the person responsible for her mother’s current condition, who was said to be under Jeonsa and who was close to the Ehara family.

Mika is a believer of thinking things through, yet this could sometimes result to overthinking. She is perceptive of the people around her and her surroundings, and can remember the important details people expose or what the environment takes on for a long time. Mika prefers to keep to herself and be in her own company; although if there are people trying to engage with her, she'll mostly take most of her attention into analyzing them and only speaking up when she needs to. Whenever she is snappy or grumpy, do not really take what she says into heart, it could probably be just the irritation from lack of sleep.

Glass Manipulation/Hyalokinesis Mika’s first and main power that manifested in her. She has the ability to shape and manipulate the form of any kind of existing glass but not create it. Mika often wears a visor to protect her eyes while she manipulates shards of glass, her father is still working on an unscratchable and unbreakable visor since they always somewhat end up getting destroyed. Mika also carries with her a set of assorted glass weaponry as her paraphernalia in combat.

Reverse Precognition Mika has the ability to see the future, whether immediate or long-term, in the manifestation of dreams–but there’s a catch. These visions are given to her in reverse, meaning in exchange of a peaceful day she would get intense nightmares. This was hard to establish when she was awakened because the people she saw harmed in her dreams would turn out alright and well the next day. That is until one night Mika had a good night’s rest and the following day, she found her mother caught in an unbreakable trance in the middle of their living room.
