Theta Undis is the reknowned and feared Prince of Kronos. He is well known for his support to the late King Helias and his unflinching wrath when crossed by those he once trusted. He was voted into his position as prince at the young age of fifteen, to extreme pleasure (and displeasure) among the royals of the court. Not only was he so young, but to this day there are whispers inside the palace that he was purposely put into his role by another member of the royal court in order to tip the scales in that person's favor. These rumors have never been confirmed or denied; and perhaps, they never will be,

because the real Theta Undis has been missing for the better part of six months now.

The man parading around as the Prince of Kronos at this very moment is none other than Theta Dhomias, a young man from the farest edges of the Kronos Kingdom.

Theta Dhomias was raised in the countryside of Kronos near the border of Myrador, born to a family of humble farmers, traders and merchants that made their living selling their goods (mostly locally, sometimes abroad). He enjoyed his quiet yet peaceful life far away from the capital and the palace. That is, until a small group of strange cloaked figures blew into town one day just over half a year ago. By the end of that week Theta Dhomias had been knocked out, tied up and forcefully taken all the way to the Kronic Palace where he was told he would be taking the place of the missing prince. Just like anyone else would be, Theta was shocked to learn that he somehow shared the same name and face as the original prince. However, beyond those two facts, and shared propensity for necromancy, that is where the similarities between the two end.

Unfortunately for Theta, the people that kidnapped him would not listen to his reasoning to refuse to take place in their scheme. He was quickly drawn into line when they threatened to harm his family if he did not comply, leaving no room for any more arguments. Theta went along with their plan in order to keep his loved ones safe, though at the time of his "agreement" he did not truly realize the enormity of what he was being press-ganged into. He is a simple country boy that has been unceremoniously into the cut-throat, gilded and volatile world of the royal court — and right now it feels more like he is sinking rather than swimming.

 

the princess of kronos and soon-to-be-ally if things fall into place correctly. prudence never got along with the original prince undis who treated her the same way he did everyone else besides the late king: with disdain and cold harshness. however, not that she has noticed a change in the prince's behavior, she finds him rather odd, and perplexing enough to try and get closer to. 

 

 

To get some basic OOC info out of the way: hi! My name is Melo, you can address me by that or as my character(s). Either is fine. I live in GMT-5/EST, and I also work part-time five days a week, so Sun-Thurs you'll really only see me in the mornings, or popping into the chat in the evenings when I have down time.

When it comes to POV Preferences I really only use 3rdPOV - ranging from semi, para and novella. The longer the post the longer it does take for me to respond. Some of my replies take at the very least a few hours to a day, sometimes up to a week.

I do prefer plotting over winging simply because it gives me more confidence when interacting with my partners, but winging is also fine with me! When I'm really full of muse I tend to post random starters as well, so if they haven't been claimed by anyone else, you don't even need to ask before responding! (Unless you plan on involving rated M and/or potentially triggering topics, in which case, yes, please PM me.)

Please do not "poke" me for a reply. As I mentioned above I do work so I might be busy, or I may have lost some muse for our plot. I don't forget replies. You may reach out to me after two (2) weeks of no response, though that's an extreme case and I most likely would have notified you not to expect a response, or let you know that I no longer have muse for our plot.

On the topic of romance/, I don't roleplay these genres with people outside of those that I am comfortable with, so please don't ask to plot such things with me. (This may also apply to certain rated M/triggering topics.)

Recently I have decided that I will be taking 1 to 2 day breaks a week from roleplaying in order to let myself rest, because lately I've been pushing myself too hard and getting close to burnout. I may still show up and make replies if I'm feeling up to it, but in general don't expect much from me on Sundays and Thursdays.
