her siren’s call only works on people of the opposite gender. regenerative healing factor is only activated while in water and it can still take upwards of a hour for severe injuries to heal. is unable to choose who she reads the mind of, can't mind read unless actively focused on doing so. an effort to start mind reading will present her with the thoughts of everyone within the same room/area as her and can easily overwhelm her.

there was a saying elise had been raised with. “to be perfect is to be adored and revered.” and what’s more adoring than a whole nation you can influence and impact? it was a seemingly ridiculous goal for a random child, yet social readings were always easy for her considering.. well, she could somewhat make out their exact thoughts and use that as a reference on how to act in front of and for each person. oft working as a singer as she grew up, the girl had a lot of people fixated on her multiple times a week, and that attention only brought more with it. she treated everyone there carefully, with care and charm prioritized over all. she would always help people out, do the small tasks they need assistance for, all of that. she was always a social player. after her reputation became impeccable outside, she started a carefully planned appeal towards the royal court itself, knowing many people would speak for her and backup whatever she said too. and now here she is, a member of aeris’ royal court. although she had never expected her efforts to finally pay off in a year of war. how troublesome.
