Protection android 613 was not always known by his name: Lazarus Delano. From the moment of his creation he was referred to only by his designation number. He was custom-created at the request of an influential and wealthy family existing within the highest spheres of society.

This family was composed of five members:
• The government official father,
• His infomercial celebrity wife, their children,
• The prodigal son, and,
• The competent CEO daughter, as well as,
• The live-in chef,
who was not technically family, but due to living within the family's expansive home, came under android 613's protection.

While he lived in the family home 613 was privy to the secrets and inner workings of every member of the household; most especially the father, who would often take 613 along with him to important meetings and events. While the android was there to act as a guard and keep the man safe, the man did not feel the need to prevent 613 from listening in on these private conversations and deals.

613 knows a lot of things that he shouldn't.

Hi! My name is Melo; you can also call me by my character names if you wish. I live in GMT-5/EST and you'll mostly see me in the mornings and possibly late at night due to my job, unless it's the weekend.

roleplay preferences

I only roleplay using 3rdPOV ranging from semi-para, paragraph to novella. I try not to go overboard since the longer the post the longer it takes me to reply, but I tend to slip into novella when I have a lot of muse. I usually do my best to mirror, and there's no pressure for you to do the same as long as you give me a reply that I can work with!

I also prefer plotting over winging since it gives me more confidence in my threads and writing, but I can still wing if it's preferred. I just ask that we first discuss what we both are and aren't open to doing, what to avoid, etc.

I sometimes post random starters in rooms when I have a lot of muse, so if you happen to find one that doesn't have a reply yet, feel free to respond without notifying me! Unless, of course, you plan to include any potentially triggering content, in which case, please ask beforehand.

dos & don'ts

Please don't poke me for a response if it's taking me awhile to reply. I usually don't forget to reply to things, I just get busy or overwhelmed and can't get to them right away. That being said, if it's been longer than two (2) weeks, feel free to contact me.

On the topic of romance/ I don't usually roleplay these genres outside of people that I am comfortable with. This may also apply to certain rated M/potentially triggering topics.

Recently I've decided that I will be taking 1 to 2 day breaks a week from roleplaying in order to let myself rest and catch up on other things as lately I've been coming quite close to burnout. I may still make replies or pop into chat, but I also might not. In general, don't expect much from me on Sundays and Thursdays.
